I have the same struggle with a brand new ostc2. Coming from an ostc3 with the physical buttons to push, I thought I just had to practice. But even on land, wearing dry gloves, the buttons are hard to manipulate.
Two years on, did you find any tricks to use the ostc2?

USB connect. No COM port
I am trying to connect to a pc running win7.
My OSTC3 does not show up as a serial port in the device manager, but under "other units"
Any tips on how to get the OSTC to create serial communication?

Gas1: 21/20 0m
Gas2: Nx75 11m
fB/O: 3
Calc.Gas B/O: yes
Bottom gas: 25 l/min
Decogas 20 l/min
Tank size:
Gas1: 7l @ 180 bar
Gas2: 7l @ 180 bar
I don't recal if the fB/O showed unrealistic values.
TTS was as expected.

Gas needs 999 bar
During a few dives last week, the gas needs for my second bailout gas switched between 999 bar, and the expected value several times.
I have attached a few profiles.
CCR, Auto SP, 2 BO gasses, FW 2.97
Any idea what caused this?
Best regards
Dennis

Re: hwOS tech manual
I noted a few minor typos: p. 21: Tank size default: 12 (is is 11) p. 26: flush it with 00% O2. The calculation will be adjusted accordingly. p. 36: »Deco Zone« appears as soon as one tissue starts to desaturate. From this point on From this point on , the warning threshold for »ppO2 max.« is set to...

Is the nofly time calculated on the basis on the pressurised cabin or the actual pressure outside at typical cruising altitude?

Re: hwOS Tech: 2.26 released
Does the satuation and desaturation have effect on the current dive, or only in the surface interval? E.g. if I set the saturation multiplier to 100% and the desaturation multiplier to 90%, would that then give me more deco on the first dive, or would the effect be limited to the surface interval fo...

Re: NDL=0 for 16 minutes
Thank you for the explanation. However, this leaves the NDL time "untrustworthy" for dives in this depth range? or was I particular unlucky with this exact profile? I know: "plan your dive" and all that, but it is pretty neat to know when the deco hammer will start hitting. Would...

NDL=0 for 16 minutes
During a ccr dive i noticed my NDL time was displaying 0 for 16 minutes. From 19-34 minutes. I kept a faily constant depth during that time.
Can this be true or did something go wrong?
Note that I did toggle the aGF a few times during the dive.
Profile attached...

I am thinking of upgrading an AP Inspiration Classic with a HW HUD and connection to my OSTC. Does anyone have a (photo) guide on the installation? Re: hwOS for OSTC3, cR and OSTC 2: 2.00 released
1) I had trouble with updating. I got readByte timeout . It happened at different places in the process. In the fifth try I succeeded. 2) Thanks for the lost gas functionality. However, I have tested it in the simulator, and it doesent seem to affect the decoplan if I turn a decogas on/off. Is that ...

Alternative decoplan / TTS
A dive buddy has a Uwatec Gallileo Sol computer, which has a feature that I find neat: It displays the TTS both in case you swich gas as planned and if you stay at the current gas. I find this a nice feature, to keep you aware of the amount of deco in case of a failure on the deco-gas. (I know: plan...
