I seem to be missing the button sensitivity settings in 10.61?

Yes, I did. Turns out the cap is eager to cross-thread with the o-ring in place, finding a 'false' thread. With some care the correct thread is found and the cap can close completely.

I'm running into an issue with my wife's OSTC plus. I can't seem to screw the battery cap close, with the o-ring installed. Without the o-ring, it works, but with the oring it gets stuck with the o-ring still visible. I recall earlier it taking some force to insert (noticably more, and the o-ring will 'plop' into place essentially), but now the amount of force is so much

I've borrowed a friends Perdix AI computer with Aqualung (PPS) transmitter. Same configuration (computer and transmitter at the same place, same divesite), everything worked flawlessly above and below water.

Does 3.03B1 include logging tank pressure on TR models?

I think it was less than half a meter or so? I dive in horizontal trim, computer on right wrist, cable light held with goodman handle in right hand. I think 3.01 is on RX 1.35 or 1.36. v10.53 is on RX 1.37. If I reboot my computer to 3.01 now it reports RX 1.37, so updating it that way seems to work. No idea if it matters though; it's not clear what RX firmware does, nor what the improve

Last dive actually went pretty well, pressure worked for most parts of the dive. Used sport v10.53 (which has a more recent RX-firmware than tech. I believe installing v10.53 then installing 3.01 would also work. Transmitter was in front of my wing, just next to my right shoulder. When pressurized, the hose is quite stiff. Earlier attempts all had the TX behind the wing, closer to the tank.

Same here. Still trying various ways to mount/orient the transmitter, but 'poor' is the best I've seen so far, with large parts of the dive without pressure reading. I've used AI before (Suunto, Uemis), and while all systems can suffer from the occasional glitch, this is by far the poorest performance I've seen, to the point of being useless. (and to the point of me actua

Thanks! Looking forward to seeing that eventually; I do believe it's a fairly high on the should-have list for an AI computer

Is logging tank pressure in the log (and export) on the roadmap for a future software release? (as v3.01 doesn't seem to do this yet)

After some struggles to get my TR to actually work with a transmitter, and eventually resulting in having both replaced in November, I was finally able to do a dive today with the TR. This is not my first AI computer, I've owned an Uemis SDA, and have borrowed a Suunto AI before. The TR is my second OSTC, I have the older model OSTC2 as well, my wife dives an OSTC+. Freshwater dive in the

Hardware was replaced, and on dry land the transmitter and computer now work as expected. Haven't been able to dive yet.

Is this improvement included in 2.99 beta 5?

Nice work! Does beta 5 already fix the TR issues in combination with screen brightness settings as mentioned in the discussion a few days ago?

I'm having problems getting my OSTC2 TR to see the transmitter. It will take minutes for the computer to even see the transmitter, and once it does, it will only do so for a short while before the pressure reading is lost again. This behaviour is repeatable, although timing varies, and I've taken a video (see below, I've included rough timestamp data). The timing between events wil

I actually liked the old red/orange scheme, use it a lot for night dives where the display is too bright even on the lowest setting. I was pleasantly surprised by the new scheme during the latest dives though, and the screen seemed less bright (on a different computer though).

Checked, and works perfectly functional. Thanks! Didn't notice the feature earlier because when playing I usually enter the menu (which resets, duh), and used a workaround when diving (either setting the course at the last minute, or keeping the computer awake.)

Any idea if this is on the roadmap somewhere, or did I miss it in the release notes?

For me 15 minutes would be fine. I admit I like Spacefish' suggestion (essentially, a *long* sleep resets the heading. )

One thing I miss when using the compass on my OSTC2 is being able to set the heading it advance (say, when gearing up). By the time I hit the water, the computer will have gone to sleep again, and will have lost the heading i set. Is it possible to retain this heading for longer in a future release?

The heading on the OSTC2 compass is shown as a red and green 'H' (as of 2.10). Is it possible to include an option in a future version to change this into the 'I' and 'II' markings as found on analog compasses like the Suunto SK7? Aside from using different markers for the heading, this would also benefit colourblind people.

I've done a few night-dives with very limited lights (enjoying the bio-luminescence, among other things), and at those light levels my OSTC2 was very bright, even when set to eco/red. Is it possible to reduce the light output further? I could use the computer as a light .

I think it's very likely a driver problem. I had similar issues with Win7, using the 'latest' Dell drivers for the Broadcom BCM2070 Bluetooth chipset in my Dell laptop. I installed some more recent drivers from another laptop vendor, which solved my problems with Win7. With Win10, however, those drivers were replaced, and the BT connectivity stopped working. A couple of weeks ago t

As the technical specs haven't yet been posted for the new OSTC2, I have a few questions about this computer: - What are the dimensions, especially compared to the OSTC3 and OSTC Sport? - What sort of rechargeable battery technology does it use? What is the expected life of the battery in time and dives? How well does it perform under cold diving conditions? (I've had some bad e
