Hallo mein Ostc3 S/N:2978 lässt sich weder unter MacOS oder Windows, mit OSTC Companion oder Subsurface upgraden. Fehlermeldung ist folgende:
Not an OSTC3.
Port tty.usbserial-A4SHCQSJ: Not an OSTC3.
Error: Port tty.usbserial-A4SHCQSJ: Not an OSTC3.

If not, here are the instructions

sudo usermod -a -G dialout $USER

usermod - modify a user account
-a - add the user to supplementary groups
-G - a list of supplementary groups (man page says to use -a only with -G ...

does your user have the rights in the dialout to /dev/tty/USBXX to access?
