Setting this as disabed or removing the switch depth will resolve this for you.
If you has gas enabled and the switch depth set then the computer assumes you are going to use these and shows you the deco time as if you were switching onto this other gas. If you keep the gas enabled but remove the ...

Re: Deco time wrong
Why gases do you have set? It’s possible that you have gases set up that you are not using and the computer was expecting you to use them

Now throw in deco stops and it gets a bit more complicated, implementation is not quite as simple as you are making out.

Re: Purchasing Strategy for dive computer(s)
I don’t really believe you need 2 computers, you’ll likely be diving with others so if your computer dies for any reason you can always complete the dive on theirs, if you get separated from them for any reason then you have yours.

How sure are you that this particular USB cable can send data? I’ve seen some that’ll charge things but don’t send data.

Re: hwOS Sport: New Firmware 10.81
I’ve just updated an OSTC Plus from 10.80 to 10.81 and it has changed its language to I think German (it was UK before). I flashed it again checking then the en language was specified and it’s still German.

It’s the only place on the housing there is etching into the anodising. Could be related to the battery but could just be coincidence

The only computers i see on the HW website are OSTC2, OSTC+ and OSTC4. The 2 and the + come in either sport or tech versions.
Deep Ideas should be able to get you any of these.

Re: OTSC Sport did not start with 3.7 volt rechargeable battery
Check the physical length of the new battery you have against the old one that you took out. You may be able to revitalise the old battery in a stand-alone charger rather than trying to charge it in the computer itself.

Re: Cannot connect 2C and 2N to windows 11 laptop
I’ve had some issues in the past where some USB cables work for data AND charging but some other USB cables only seem to work for charging. Could be as simple as trying a different cable. Use one that you know has transmitted data before like a camera or Kindle cable.

Re: Cannot connect 2C and 2N to windows 11 laptop
I always thought it was these drivers that were needed to be installed to give you the relevant com port when the computer is plugged in, make sure you are using a good cable too, some cables are only power cables whereas some other cables are data and power.

This is I believe a design change, both buttons needed to turn it on.

Screen on one device seems a lot dimmer than another
In our house we have 2 OSTC Plus computers, one running the sport firmware (my girlfriends) and one running the tech firmware (mine). I took them both on a dive at the weekend and the computer running the sport firmware seemed to be quite a lot dimmer than my computer.

Can you post a picture of what you mean.
I completed a dive on a computer running 10.74 and downloaded that into Subsurface and it seemed to look pretty normal.

Thanks for the reply.
I’ve never seen a 4 in the flesh but I think it includes trimix by default whereas this is an optional extra on the other computers so not actually as much extra as it first appears.
