Habe leider keinen Tipp, aber das gleiche Problem.

Ich verwende Windows7 64-Bit und OSTC Companion v1.200.0

Ich möchte von FW 1.92 auf 2.01 updaten.
Leider kommt immer irgendwann "readByte Timeout".
Egal, welchen USB-Port ich nehme.

Die FW 1.92 und alle Früheren konnte ich noch völlig problemlos ...

Uups, sorry, durch die ganzen Versuche und Hin- und Her-Kopierereien hatte ich wieder die alte libdivecomputer geladen.

Mit den beiden neuen Libs geht's jetzt.
Diving Log 5.0 hat meinen letzten TG korrekt erkannt und runtergeladen

Ich habe die "libusb-1.0.dll" kopiert und FW V1.92 geladen.

Diving Log 5.0 funktioniert wieder ohne Fehlerdialog

Aber der letzte Tauchgang wird weiterhin nicht gesehen und daher nicht runter geladen

Recently I updated my OSTC3 from FW Version 1.86 to V1.92.
I did a dive that is completely stored in the OSTC3 and I get all the details in its logbook.
Unfortunately downloading this latest dive with Diving Log 5.0 permanently fails :-(
This last dive (FW V1.92) is not seen by Diving Log 5.0 ...

I am having the same problem as Onno reported.

I didn't have any problems reading the profiles from my OSTC 3 with version 1.74
But now I've upgraded to version 1.80 DivingLog 5.0 cannot download any dives.

Going back to OSTC 3 version 1.74 and even to version 1.30 does not solve the problem. Even ...

I assume you just double-clicked the universal.exe application.
Unfortunartely this does not work.
Instead you have to do the following:
- connect your OSTC3 to your PC
- open your PC's command prompt window, e.g. from start->all_programs->accessories
- use the CD command to tell the ...

Die Beschreibung auf der Subsurface Website legt tatsächlich einen Update auf 4.0.3 nahe.
"Randomly Subsurface 4.0.2 doesn’t correctly download files from a dive computer".

Leider habe ich auch mit dieser Version identisches (Fehl)Verhalten.
Bei mir tritt das auch nicht randomly auf, sondern ...

Seit Kurzem bin ich stolzer Besitzer eines OSTC3 # 2257 und habe auch schon einen ersten ordentlichen Tauchgang damit absolviert.

Leider gelingt es mir nicht, das Logbuch auf meinen PC zu übertragen :-(
Folgende Randbedingungen:
- Subsurface 4.0.2.0 bzw. Divinglog 5.0.12
