Re: Question on dislay with deco stops

yeah... tell my wife.. she finds the Eon Core a "pretty" computer... On the other hand is is only light deco in the Maldives where you have 5-6min deco max. so not big issue but for sure if you plan deco dives I would not use a Suunto especially as it adds some penalties in an un-tranparen...

Re: Question on dislay with deco stops

Thanks Ralph. Clear explanation. I think it is important to fully understand the figures shown on the divecomputer and how these are calculated :) (during a dive cruise I have seen some divers confused between deco time and TTS not really knowing what the computer was telling them  ) Seems th...

Re: Question on dislay with deco stops

Thanks Ralph for the detailed info. For the TTS as I see only 1min delta it could be rounding + if final ascent from 5m is not considered. Regarding the extra gas (aka "gas 6") I understand that I should configure it first and then mark Gas 1 as lost. This indeed changed the deco time. Reg...

Re: Question on dislay with deco stops

Thanks Ralph for your answers ! Below some reactions on these. regarding picture 2841: you have 2 stops, 1 and 5 minutes, and will need 30m/(10m/min) = 3 minutes for the ascent. This totals to 9 minutes. Where do you exect your extra 1 minute to come from? From the 1min deco @12m -displayed in big a...

Question on dislay with deco stops

Hello I tried to better understand what is displayed on the OSTC using the simulator. I have a few following these simulations. I took some pictures in order to allow a better understanding. I would expect the TTS to be 1+5+1+3 (30m@ 10m/s)=10 and not 9.. or a...

Re: OSTC Sport - Compass issue

Hello,

The problem remains. Re-calibrating helps for a limited period of time.
How can it be determined if its a HW issue ?

Pic1: some time (1day) after calibration
Pic2: new calibration
Pic3: reading after calibration

Thanks in advance!

Re: OSTC Sport - Compass issue

Yes, I did around the axis.
Wondering if this could be caused by a low battery... The battery failed 3 dives later and the OSTC even skipped the last dive entirely (cfr the other posts I made).

I replaced the battery, I will redo a calibration and see what happens.

OSTC Sport - Did not save last dive

As mentioned in my battery topic my OSTC Sport had a strange behavior after my last dive. The OSTC indicated battery 0% a few minutes after the dive -while 75% at the exit of the water- I changed the battery and now it seems that last dive is not in the logbook... I have no clue if it is now conside...

Re: OSTC Sport - Erratic battery readout in subsurface

yes.

Note I just made a dive, after the dive I had 75%
a few minutes later the OSTC claimed the battery was at 0%
The dive has not been saved in the logbook... The OSTC complete skipped the dive...

Decided to change the SAFT battery....

OSTC Sport - Erratic battery readout in subsurface

Hello, I have following values in subsurface for "battery at end". The readings seems quite odd to me... 05/02 dive 1: 3.23V 74% 05/02 dive 2: 3.24V 72% 06/02 dive 1: 3.11V 70% 06/02 dive 2: 3.18V 68% 07/02 dive 1: 3.00V 75% --> % seems strange to me 07/02 dive 2: 3.21V 64% 07/02 dive 3: 3...

OSTC Sport - Compass issue

Hello, Currently on diving holiday I wanted to use the compass of my OSTC sport instead of my suunto compass... but it seems that the compass has an issue. During yesterday's dive, the compass was always showing the same bearing independently of the direction :( I did a calibration and today... got ...

Battery usage question - OSTC Sport

Hello, I am have been surprised by the behavior of my OSTC sport regarding battery (SAFT 14500 Lithium Cell) usage. Hereafter an overview of the battery as reported by the logbook Date - dive time - battery at end 11 June 2017 - 44min - 3.29V 94% 11 June 2017 - 47min - 3.31V 92% 10 Dec 2017 - 50min ...
