Re: Compass - bearing
Hi,
The bearing is shown with this green marker in the dive mode. Red is the counter course (+180°)
The small numbers you mention is the stopwatch which replaces the temperature when the compass is shown.
The bearing is not shown as figures in the dive mode.
regards,
Matthias

Re: Middle button does not work anymore
Hi,
The magnet reset in the OSTC 4 does the same as removing the battery and re-inserting it. This will not adjust the buttons.
We're in contact with Christoph already and will take care of this.

Re: Uhrzeit
Hallo,
Matthias

Re: Cannot connect 2C and 2N to windows 11 laptop
The old Mk.2, 2N and 2C OSTC used USB-UART Chips from FTDI (And yes, we used genuine ones from reliable suppliers ;-) - These are still 100% supported from Windows 11 and FTDI provides updates for these regularly https://ftdichip.com/drivers/ Usually, Windows 11 will download these automatically whe...

Re: hwOS4: New Firmware 1.6.5 with RTE 3.20
Nice computer but this power supply is poorly solved. Computer charging lasts 40 hours. And now it turns out that you have to do it once a month. Hi, An empty OSTC4 takes about 5-6hours to recharge. This is checked with every OSTC4 we ship. There are some things you can check: - Power supply is cap...

Re: OSTN 2n Comms issues
The USB port soldering joints are inaccessible due to the potted construction in the old OSTC 2C. So a new bulkhead can not be installed.

Hi,
The backplate is potted to the battery compartment in the 2N. We do not recommend to replace this by yourself.

Matthias

Re: Feature request: Normal stopwatch
You have two average depth readings. One, that is for the entire dive and the other one is linked to the stopwatch. So even if you don't need the stoppable average depth, you still have the one for the whole dive.

Hi,
3 Options: Connect with "OSTConf" App and check/update firmware, hard reset with a magnet (Put on charger, trigger the reset with a magnet on the left housing side (or right if you have flipped the screen) or remove battery and re-insert it.

Matthias

Kontaktproblem.
