Re: OSTN 2n Comms issues
The USB port soldering joints are inaccessible due to the potted construction in the old OSTC 2C. So a new bulkhead can not be installed.

Re: OSTC 2N Back plate replacement
Hi,
The backplate is potted to the battery compartment in the 2N. We do not recommend to replace this by yourself.

Re: Feature request: Normal stopwatch
You have two average depth readings. One, that is for the entire dive and the other one is linked to the stopwatch. So even if you don't need the stoppable average depth, you still have the one for the whole dive.

Hi,
3 Options: Connect with "OSTConf" App and check/update firmware, hard reset with a magnet (Put on charger, trigger the reset with a magnet on the left housing side (or right if you have flipped the screen) or remove battery and re-insert it.

Matthias

Kontaktproblem.

Matthias

Re: Deko time at 6m countdown is much longer than shown
Then you need to disable the deco gas (You can do this during the dive, too). The OSTC assumed you would be changing to this gas (Which would have accelerated your deco). That resulted in the discrepancy you saw.

Matthias

USB OSTC users - please read!
Hi, We see corroded USB ports regularly because users continue to close the USB cap with a screwdriver all the way down. That might get the O-Ring damaged in the threads. Result is a leak and (worst case) end-of-life of the entire unit (The USB port is NOT replaceable in the 2C or 2N!). The USB cap ...

Re: OSTN 2n Comms issues
That's an "OSTC 2C" (It's written on the front, as well). If the USB port is not detected, try a different cable and/or clean the USB port with some contact cleaner or "WD40". We see corroded USB ports regularly because people continue to close the USB cap with a screwdriver all ...

Re: Safety stop on OSTC 2 firmware 10.75
It was posted before, but the safety stop in hwOS (the firmware for all "small" OSTC) works as follows: - The dive must have been deeper than 10m and lasted longer than 1min. - When surfacing, there must be no deco commitment at 10m depth - A countdown of 3min is then displayed (to the sec...

Re: OSTC Sport - Unable to connect on Bluetooth for Firmware Upgrade
In the new OSTC+, there is an option "Reset Bluetooth" in the reset menu. This will un-pair any devices from the OSTC+ and usually does the trick if you have issues. Also, the OSTC+ Bluetooth may not work with a (low quaility) 1,5V battery. The recommended 3,6V rechargeable LiIon battery o...

Re: Surface pressure compensation
Hello,
The OSTC+ will use the surface pressure reading for the 0m reference. So, some hPa more or less will NOT affect your depth reading and this is not critical. A defective pressure sensor will show (intentionally) 9999hPa on the surface.

Matthias

Hallo,
Matthias
