The cave mode can be enabled/disabled in the menu if you have the firmware with the cave mode compiled (#define _cave_mode enabled in the configuration.inc)

The operation of the cave mode is relatively complex and complicated. Due to the small user base, it is simply better for our support if this is not (currently) in the regular firmware. Hello, The software in the OSTC is deterministic, so it always shows the same output for the same input conditions. So something is not the same with both OSTCs. Same firmware?
