Re: OSTC 4 with 3x Solid-State Sensor

We'll have the OSTC4 back on stock soon (A few weeks). As Thorsten wrote the OSTC4 controls everything here, so this is not an independent solution. Demand for simple LED HUD is not very big, we might build one that is compatible with the OSTC4 using this multiplexer board but don't wait for it if y...

Re: OSTC Sport - Need help about display

Hi,

It would be very interesting for us to know which GF parameters you have set. Even if the last stop is technically always at 0m, the OSTC should then simply display the NDL time again...

The cave mode can be enabled/disabled in the menu if you have the firmware with the cave mode compiled (#define _cave_mode enabled in the configuration.inc)

Re: Cave Edition

The operation of the cave mode is relatively complex and complicated. Due to the small user base, it is simply better for our support if this is not (currently) in the regular firmware. Here is the current manual, which also clearly shows the functions: Supplemental Manual for the Cave Mode Function...

Re: OSTC Sport discontinued?

We have discontinued the OSTC sport 2 for the time being, unfortunately the components have become so expensive that it is currently not worthwhile for us to offer an OSTC for € 515. You won't be able to find one at dealers either, that's for sure. We still have a lot of housings, maybe we'll organi...

Obviously a fault in the charger or (unlikely) in the OSTC 2. Did you contact our support already?

Was für ein OSTC2 ist das (genau)? Es gibt einige Verschiedene Generationen mittlerweile. Idealerweise poste mal den Hardware-String aus dem Informations-Menü?

Re: Two OSTC 2N showing different stops and times

Hello, The software in the OSTC is deterministic, so it always shows the same output for the same input conditions. So something is not the same with both OSTCs. Same firmware? Are all settings really the same? If in doubt, reset both OSTCs via the reset menu (Reset CF, Gas & Deco) and try again...

It is unfortunate that the NoFly feature (which is too short!! or too long!!), is a recurring topic at our support inbox. A simple 24-hour countdown is a safe and understandable option that aligns with the recommendations of most training organizations. We will continue to offer this option with OST...

Re: Buttons do not work when disconnected from USB

Buttons need replacement at our place. It is a complicated and time-consuming repair and therefore costs 139,70€ (as of 07/2024). If the unit is still in good condition this might be worth the repair but considering the age of the unit (The last 2N were sold in 2013) an upgrade to a newer unit is th...

De...

Re: OSTC4 not calculating Deco correctly. Possible Bug?

Thanks for the detailed report, we'll have a look into this. There will be some improvements in the next releases with the VPM (The time for 9m is entered in the time for 6m and then overwritten for the list display) the total ascent time is correct, also the shown "next stop". A bug, yes:...

Hi,

We also use ZH-L16C. What was the deco requirement on 3m and the total deco time for this dive? What gases did you use?

You can find the used a and b constants for N2 and He here: https://code.heinrichsweikamp.com/publi ... rc/decom.c
