Re: Problem to upload logbook from 0STC 2 to Diving Log

Are the dives visible in the internal logbook?

Try unticking the "Download new dives only" box in the divinglog App.

Re: OST4 external interface. Which one?

Hi, This depends on the rebreather you might get. All modern eCCR have O2 monitoring and display/HUD included. Here, you really do not need to add the OSTC 4 with monitoring option. It's a different story for KISS, other mCCR or dedicated deco/oxygen rebreathers. The OSTC 4 is available in three opt...

Re: OSTC sport does not switch on with buttons

be shure that the compas is calibrated properly, cause the wake-up is depending on the magnetic sensor (if i remember it right). Not quite. The accelerometer is used in some versions of the OSTC 2 and plus to enable the buttons when the unit is not moved for 24h. Not relevant here for the OSTC spor...

Re: Bug in button menu in 3.18 firmware?

If the button still is too insensitive in the 2015 OSTC 2, we can replace these, of course. There are no known issues with this firmware and your hardware. When leaving the menu, the new settings are applied (Behaviour is different in newer OSTC 2).

Re: OSTC 2: Battery 99% after Empty Battery (T4)

Hi, We have a rather large warning about this behavior in the manual for many years now. But with many users now starting to use the OSTC again after >2 years of storage this is currently a common question here at our support team. If the battery of the OSTC was discharged, the OSTC should be charge...

Is this a hwOS problem that can (and will) be fixed in an new hwOS version? Or is a new OSTC Companion Version needed and will be provided someday? Or is OSTC Companion end of support and Subverison is the last remaining program for MacOS users to make hwOS updates? PS / If an iPhone is "at ha...

We really need to check the unit here at the factory. Do not attach to USB anymore, even when there is only little amount of water in the bulkhead. Please contact us: info@heinrichsweikamp.com via email for details.

When I plug it into the charger, I can hear a little bit of static coming from the charging port itself - only happens when it's in the "wait...." mode! This really does not sound good. Is there water in the USB bulkhead? Never ever connect the 2C to USB power when the USB bulkhead is wet...

The USB standard has long since ceased to be a standard as far as the power supply of all kinds of devices is concerned. With USB-C PD, there still seems to be a standard. But devices with USB-A plugs have been doing what they want for many years and accordingly you can now simply draw 1-2A from any...

Re: OSTC 2 Refuses to wake up

Make sure to use a proper USB Supply. 5V and at least 2A is recommended. Try a different one, sometimes these require communication with the USB device. Our chargers do not communicate and just try to draw the current they need. T4 is good and leave the unit charging then. 3.4V is quite low but far ...

Re: OSTC 2 Refuses to wake up

"T4" is in front of the battery voltage? If it stays at 0% usually the battery type was not setup as required. You can change this setting from within the Reset menu -> Reset Battery.
