Re: Rechargeable Battery - Experiences
So with a 750mAh Lithium 14500 battery there is no real indication on when to recharge ?
just better safe then sorry and doing it around the 60% remaining mark ?

Re: Rechargeable Battery - Experiences
Hi Matthias,
What is the "advised" remaining voltage before we should recharge the batteries ?
I have an OSTC sport #12343 ?
I assume the voltage seen in the "information" menu is a true read-out and not something calculated like % remaining ?
As a result that should be a more reliable indicator ...

Re: Rechargeable Battery - Experiences
I have purchased some Nitecore (NL147) 750Mah rechargable 14500 batteries
( Nitecore NL147 )
I have not yet tested them since my initial SAFT battery is still ok for now.
But I've done more research and it seems the following battery is also a very good one :
Keeppower 14500 review
Does anyone ...

Rechargeable Battery - Experiences
Hey All,
I was wondering who has tried using a rechargeable (14500) battery in his/her OSTC-sport (or other dive-computer that works on the AA's)
What brand did you buy?
What's the capacity ?
What's your opinion on this battery ?
Where did you buy it ?
This might be a good topic to gather all ...

Re: OSTC Sport & Windows 10
As an update :
I know that KB3093266 should fix these issues but I'm in Windows insider fast-ring.
As such this update isn't applicable to me (but my current windows build (10515) should incorporate these fixes already )
Any other suggestions ?

Re: OSCT3 - Using a Rechargeable 14500 Battery?
I also purchased some Nitecore 750Mah 3.6v 14500 batteries. They seem to be solid but not sure if for the calculation of remaining battery life it makes a difference that this is a rechargable one on lower Mah then those non-rechargables of 900Mah...
So adding that to the menu might be useful indeed.

OSTC Sport & Windows 10
Hi All,
I recently purchased an OSTC sport and now I want to connect it to my laptop using bluetooth.
I'm using a surface pro 3 (builtin bluetooth) on windows 10.
When I enable BT on the OSTC, I can connect to 2 different devices.
1) OSTSc1
2) OSTCs 12343 (that seems to match the serial number ...
