Re: Pressure Transmitters
A couple of years ago there was a short run of OSTC2 TR computers which were compatible with the transmitters. All the other OSTC computers do not have the hardware to receive the TR data. I'm not sure why HW stopped making/selling the TR variant - maybe someone more knowledgeable than me can offer ...

Re: OSTC Sport - safety stop
So far I've never seen my OSTC go into safety stop! Granted I've only done 5 dives on it so far, and two of them <10m.
But the other three have been to 26m, 26m, 35m. All those incurred only small deco which was cleared during ascent. I never saw an NDL reappear, nor a safety stop.

Re: OSTC Sport - safety stop
I took my OSTC Sport for a dive to 35m (using EAN29) today. My NDL ran down to zero at about the 15min mark (28m), and for 5-6 minutes it was showing neither NDL nor deco. It was only at about the 21min mark (23m) that it showed 3m/1'. I wonder if I had ascended to safety stop depth during that peri...

Re: Bluetooth issue - paired successful but no ports set up
I also had similar issues getting my Sport playing nicely with BT. I also saw it find two devices - one with just the first number of the serial number, and one with the full serial number. I can't remember exactly what I did to make it work, but it's quite reliable now. I did do a lot of removing t...

Re: OSTC Sport Battery meter
Thanks Matthias, that's good to know. So if I have a 50% battery, and switch out for a new one before a trip, switching back to the old one will show 100%, but probably go flat before it gets to 50%. So best to carry a brand new battery and just switch it out when needed.

OSTC Sport Battery meter
This is more a technical curiousity than anything else... how does the Sport determine the battery level in the OSTC Sport? Especially with the SAFT LS14500, which have a very flat voltage curve before they die.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Deco stop countdown
I noticed this question was also asked in the Mk2 section of the forums (http://forum.heinrichsweikamp.com/read.php?2,17381). Is it just not a feature that is deemed useful/necessary, or is it technically unfeasible? Eg, does the continuous deco recalculation mean that deco stop seconds may jump aro...

Re: Difficulty connecting bluetooth
So I got hold of a Win7 laptop with built in bluetooth with much greater success. My BT adapter is this one: http://www.avantronics.com/Product-Bluetooth-4.0-USB-Adapter-Avantree-DG40S_994.html Is anyone else out there using a USB bluetooth adapter with good results, and if so, please post which one...

Re: Difficulty connecting bluetooth
Also tried my Win7 PC at the office, and similar issues. Next step is to find another blue tooth adapter, to see if that is an issue - but mine is connecting successfully to a number of other different types of BT devices without any troubles.

Re: Difficulty connecting bluetooth
Yes, I did leave it open. My results are very inconsistent. Sometimes it will pick up the OSTC for only a second or two, then it will disappear again. Very frustrating!

Difficulty connecting bluetooth
Playing with my new Sport, trying to get Bluetooth connectivity up and going. I first tried using DiveMate on my Galaxy S2, and seemed to connect and download without too much trouble. Then I tried with my Windows 10 PC, which is causing me lots of trouble. At first, after about 10-15 seconds it fou...

Deco stop countdown
Only just received my OSTC Sport today, so have only taken it for simulated dives so far. I love the safety stop countdown in seconds, but is there a reason why the deco stop countdown is only shown in minutes? Is it possible to make the current deco stop a bit more obvious? Ie, if I'm at 20m, and m...
