Understanding bailout values in simulation mode

Hi, I have done a simulation in CC mode and I have a doubt. These are the simulation data: Diluent: TX17/37 SP: 1.3 BT: 12' Depth: 60m GF: 50/85 SAC Work: 18L/min SAC Deco: 16L/min Bailout: TX18/43 (first) and NX50 (Deco) These are the results referring to bailout: from the bottom to 21m I breathe T...

Re: M.Bubbles

Hi,

I've already found where the problem was.
In setup I did not put the depth of the SP change. Default= 0 m.
So the whole dive was done with a low SP of 0.7

Thanks

Re: M.Bubbles

Hi Matthias, First of all, thanks for the quickly respond. I'm sure that for the OSTC deco stops has been omitted, since the whole dive was done with 0,7 low SP, which greatly lengthens the deco times. However, the truth is that the dive was made with 1,3 high SP and all deco times and ascent speeds...

M.Bubbles

Hi, 4 days ago I did a CCR simple practice immersion. I used the OSTC as backup computer and setup the OST as Auto SP. My guess is that the OSTC didn't automatically change from low to high SP because the TTS was much higher than the vision of the AP inspiration. I have to look why it doesn't change...

Sensor check and diluent warning

Hi. I've done one simulation in my OSTC plus in CCR mode. Data: Dil NX32 B/O NX30 SP 1.3 I realize a couple of details: 1- At 30m. I have a diluent warning ppO2 1.25. This warning tells me that if I would flush with my diluent now or breathe it OC, the ppO2 value would be too high or too low. Questi...

Re: Deco-dive with travel gas, bottom gas and four deco gases

Hi Ralph, I think so. I have the feeling that we do not understand some things because of my level of English, which is not very good. Sorry about it. I know that I always have to select the gases maually, either via the menu or by acknowleding the gas-switch promt. My question refer to paragraph C ...

Re: Deco-dive with travel gas, bottom gas and four deco gases

Hi Ralph, Thank you very much for the reply. It has cleared up a lot of things for me. Just a few questions in paragraph C and E: - On the ascent, do I have to manually (via the menu) select the gas1, configured as trip, to use it as deco? Or is it going to be the computer itself that suggests me th...

Re: Deco-dive with travel gas, bottom gas and four deco gases

Hi Matthias, I wold like to make sure that I have understood you correctly. Predive. Setup gas list: Gas1, first, TX 12/65, depth MOD Gas2, deco, TX 16/45, depth 51 m. Gas3, deco, TX 30/30, depth 42 m. Gas4, deco, NX50, depth 21 m. Gas5, deco, O2, depth 6 m. Just after starting the descent: - select...

Re: Deco-dive with travel gas, bottom gas and four deco gases

Hi Matthias, I know it's no usual but I like to use a gas that pulls me off the bottom in case of problems with the bibo (emergency gas). I could not use it if it was not necessary, and then I would have 4 gases, one of the four would also be the travel gas. But I also want to use the emergency gas ...

Deco-dive with travel gas, bottom gas and four deco gases

Hello, in the OSTC plus I can set up until 5 gases. But if I need a travel gas, a bottom gas and four deco gas, how do I set it up? Actually, I use five gases, but the travel gas and one of the deco gas I have to configure twice. Once as travel gas and once as deco gas, and both at the same depth. S...

Hello, I have the following problem trying to recharge the battery on my OSTC plus. Re: Gas density

Ok. My question comes from the following doubt. Data that I use (there is a little difference in the numbers with yours): - Standar conditions. 0º C and 101,325 kPa He 0,179 g/L N2 1,251 g/L O2 1,428 g/L - Normal conditions. 25º C and 101,325 kPa He 0,166 g/L N2 1,165 g/L O2 1,331 g/L Obviously, in ...

Gas density

Hi

How does OSTC calculate gas density for a given respired gas at a given depth?
What air and the individual components of gas mixes density values does the software use to calculate it?
Does it take temperature into account?

Thanks.
