Re: hwOS4: New Firmware 1.5.3 with RTE 2.03

I’m pleased to report that I upgraded to 1.5.2 BETA a month ago and logged 45 dives and downloaded daily and had no issues at all. So hopefully the corrupted log file issue that myself and others experienced has been put to bed.

Re: Hardware design and pressure sensor

Hi Matthias

Congratulations on a great product and support. Thanks for the links and I found the information I was after from the product datasheet on TE website.

I'll drop you an email with some further information.

Thanks

Lionel

Hardware design and pressure sensor

Hi

Could you please put me in touch with the hardware designer of the OSTC4 as I have an idea I'd like to discuss. Also could you please let me know the part number / model number of the pressure sensor used in the OSTC4.

Thanks

Lionel

Re: Tauchprofil stimmt nicht im Logbuch

I encountered a similar (or the same) issue that a dive shows in the logbook fine but does not download. All subsequent dives down load fine. Using subsurface and force download loads all dives prior to this problematic log entry and then hangs, see https://groups.google.com/forum/#!category-topic/s...

Re: Charging OSTC 4

Correction, that should have been (though serial number would suggest mine is newer). @Matthias can you please shed some light. I am still struggling with charging and will have to make a 3D printed jig to hold it in place. Also the charger gets hot quickly and seems to stop charging - maybe I'll ch...

Re: Charging OSTC 4

Hmmm, so it's seems like there was perhaps a redesign. Not sure which is older (though your serial number would suggest mine is). Strange as this seems like a backwards step!

Re: Charging OSTC 4

Thanks. So that plate is completely different to the one on my unit #506. It looks much better as not only does it have the recess, but the bungee mounts look much better and seems like would fit better on the arm. @Matthias can you please let me know if this back plate will fit my OSTC4. The photo ...

Re: Charging OSTC 4

It is tempting to make a recess for the charger in the right position that will have two benefits. 1) locate the charger correctly 2) bring the charger coil closer to the device coil Probably only needs to be 1.5mm deep. But I don't want to alter my unit and risk warranty issues, nor risk of damage ...

Re: Charging OSTC 4

Thanks.

I received my new OSTC4 only 3 weeks ago and there isn't a notch. Can you please send me photo of the plate.

@heinrichsweikamp - Are these plates available to be sent out if they locate charger correctly?

Re: Charging OSTC 4

@heinrichsweikamp Can you please post an engineering drawing showing the precise location of the charging coil inside the OSTC4 so that I can make a fixture to hold it in the correct location rather than trial and error. Given that the charging process is so difficult, I'd suggest that you provide a...
