Re: OSTC Sport - issue during one dive
Mine also did exactly this the other day. I managed to exit the weird overlaid mode by pressing a combination of the buttons which I think essentially was bringing up the little dive mode menu and exiting it. It then worked normally for the rest of the dive.

Re: OSTC 2 doesn't turn on
To be honest I think there is a problem with the latest firmware. Mine has utterly stopped working since I updated it.

OSTC 2 Frozen / Not Responding
Hi,
I have updated my OSTC to 3.18 and done two dives with it. Upon surfacing of second dive, OSTC has completely frozen. The time is not changing, the display is stuck at max brightness and it has been on for the last two hours constantly.
Is something broken in the new code? I had this problem ...

Re: Two big problems. Firmware issue?
Hi Matthias,
No worries I will email asap. Confusing however as it is today once again ok. Clock is running fine now.
It was on when I went to bed last night (stuck on home screen). Was off when I woke up. I powered it up and reset time again via app, now I have come back from work and all is ...

Re: Two big problems. Firmware issue?
Sorry for all the posts but the more updates the more it helps?
Apparently it is not frozen but is running super slow.
The time is progressing roughly 1 min every 4 hours. Too slow to respond to any input though.

Re: Two big problems. Firmware issue?
Hi Matthias,
Sure. At the moment I have a third update. It is frozen on the home screen and not responding. Time has stopped counting too. If / when it responds again I will post.

Re: Two big problems. Firmware issue?
UPDATE (2 hours later): I just got a bit annoyed with it. Tried taking it on and off the charger again. Tried pushing both the buttons a lot including holding down both.
Shock, after a fair bit of button mashing it finally exited Bluetooth mode and went back to the main menu.

Two big problems. Firmware issue?
Hi, OSTC 2 on 3.11.
Two new problems. Used for diving two weekends in a row, no issues.
Today, new issues:
1) OSTC would not turn on from deep sleep. Tried shaking, rotating for a long time. Nothing. Placed on charger and after about 5 minutes it booted.
Seemed fine, except time was 0500. Local ...

Re: OSTC 2 Right Piezo Button Phantom Presses
Last night OSTC has developed a new problem. It was sat on my desk and has decided that I’ve gone for a dive to 89.3m for just coming up to 1000 minutes now. Can’t get it out of this mode (it’s not a simulation) so just waiting for the battery to run out. Temperature is showing as -99 degrees C.

Re: hwOS Tech: 2.99 beta 5 released!
I would guess that the known limitations are due to OSTC's being 16 bit and therefore causing an integer overflow?
