I've had it since January, the buttons have been fine up till now. The unit will not turn on by holding the buttons for any period of time. The only way to get it to turn on is to plug in the interface connect to my laptop, press reset button, then the unit turns on.

Hi Matthias,
The left button works when the unit is plugged into my laptop, however the right button fails to enter the menu. So I think it is broken.

Hi
I cannot turn on my OSTC. If I plug the interface into my laptop and into the OSTC then press the reset button it will turn the OSTC on. I get the normal screen display for approx 1 minute then the screen says "Please wait, rebuilding MD02 hash" the OSTC then turns off again.

This might be a stupid question.
The way you described in your first post, would I then be able to connect it to a shearwater Classic Kiss Kidney to run 3 cell monitoring and a HUD?

Even fitting an angled fischer connector the cable is still going to be a potential snagging hazard, plus thats another failure point introduced.

I dive a Classic kiss, the way the wiring and kidney are made the displays have to go on your left arm.
I would like to try an have my OSTC integrated with my Kiss cells.
Is there any way a software update could include the option to flip the screen 180 degrees, thereby having the fischer connector ...
