I don't like the idea of deco planning on the fly
when you dive with deco mix(es) I think you are doing deep and/or long dives so gas managment is essential "before" the dive so you know how long and how deep you can go or what gasses and volumes you need
on the other hand i think it"s possible to ...

@JeanDo
maybe try it in realtime simulation. Switch at 21m to EAN50, then ascend as normal to 6m switch to pure O² and then back to EAN50. What Gucky gets is a loop of 2' at 21 m and this for 12'

one of the reasons i go diving is to relax so i don't need any noise under water
yes... you should watch your DC once in a while

Live EAD and END would be nice indeed
same for game for long deco stops :p
gas mixer is not needed for me, it's a nice to have but I think this is not a dive computer issue.

Re: Setting up the Mk2 for CCR use
For the BO gasses. I don't set them as active and I can reach al 5 gasses during dive and even Gas6 can be defined. Keep in mind that Gas 1 is your diluent. Which makes the MKII awsome of course :p
I also have a shearwater on my rEvo but mostly I use MKII during dive because i'm used to it and ...

SP 1: descending (or low SP)
SP 2: bottem SP (or high SP)
SP 3: some ppl use it for ascending or deco
I use SP 1: 0,7, SP2: 1,3 and SP 3 : 1
For rebreather I can suggest the rEvo. Awsome machine

it is a just nice to have feature wich
-helps people to undertsand how tissues are getting saturated and desaturated
-for people who understands this all and know the M-value formulas it will help to act during dive

Re: Gase beim Tauchgang Aktivieren und de- Aktivieren. // Edit Gaslist (Aktiv Gas) in Dive mode
if you don't do the switch on the OSTC at switching depth the deco will be recalculated after a while not using the gas. So the decosum will be correct.
You will not see it at maximum depth but if you lose a gas I hope you will start the ascend in BO.
If you really don't want to use the decogasses ...

You can use a dive planner wich uses buhlmann like GAP or MV-plan
or you can run the RT simulation on OSTC or with divinglog
this will take you a while of course

I understand your question
what I always do is use 2 or even 3 kinds of bailout (+0/+3), (+3/+3) and (+5/+5)
and some "lost gas" plannings.
You always have to make sure you have enough gas. If not, change your plan or use bigger bottles.

Re: change GFs for Bailout
normally you should use the same conservatisme for bail/out if not more conservatisme.
reason for this is when you actually are going in bail/out fase you might be nervous wich can lead to a CO2 build-up wich can lead to a deco.
