Re: stuck in divemode

JeanDo, but this could be solved somehow.

However, I'm not familiar with this new flight mode (yet), but as this issues pops up from time to time it could also be solved by defining something like a maximun dive time (lets say 24hrs defined by CF78) to avoid these behavior (and data loss).

Re: stuck in divemode

Matthias, is there a need to overwrite the log data if there is no change in the profile? Wouldn't it be possible to just save changes so you would save memory (and in this particular case a lot of dive logs)?

My wish List for MK2N

This thread is for describing my own feature requests for future development of the MK2/2N firmware. This is not an official list! Feel free to comment and discuss, propose new features or tell me that it is bullshit what I'm writing - I will try to keep it updated. Critical: Remove unit shutdown >1...

Re: stuck in divemode

Yeah, the best would be to take another flight back to Thailand :-) I guess there is no chance to edit the altitude setting in dive mode and most likely the magnet trick is also not working (not sure about this). As this is a question popping up regularly you should be able to find a solution in one...

Re: Max Depth

Thx for all the replies, but the question is still not answered. Matthias states "[...] and the OSTC shuts down". Will there be a warning before? What happens when ascending above -130m? Will it switch on again? Is there any decoplan left? Or will the unit break completely? I do not feel s...

On a "real dive" (tm) yesterday evening there has been correct deco calculations. Is this just an issue with the simulator?

Thx, the new scale on the logbook looks nice. For everybody else who wpnders how to find the additional information in den logsbook: press the left Button (SET/MENU) to toggle them. There is still no indicator if it is a CC or OC dive, so adding the used deco model would be _really_ nice. It would e...

Re: Setting up the Mk2 for CCR use

Have Fun Mate! Which unit are you going to try? Keep in mind, that trying a CCR might become very expensive! I would recommend to have your eyes more on the unit itself or on the integrated controller and not on your MK2. Just set the MK2 to deco model CC GF (something like that, do not have my unit...

Interesting Point Xavier, didn't recognize this before. I just checked the GF setting, which seems also to be limited to 255%. This might be a similar discussion as with the CNS and although I think there is no real need for a GF above 255% this might be tracked in the same context.

Re: New Logbook Graph-scale - suggestion

Looks not soo bad JeanDo :-). Why not change the color of the depth line for gas change? Then you can also recognize it when there is no deco (at all/anymore) and which is common in jdivelog?

Concerning the +1: I also think this is quite an easy way for voting!

Thx,
Jan

Re: New 1.83 beta available for the Mk.2

I also have to confirm a bug still hanging around in the calculation of the no fly value. After 2-3 hrs out of the water now I still have 69:10. The profile looks good by the way (no decreasing surface like in 1.82), see it attached. I dived a TX 10/50 CC GF 30/90.
