Re: New firmware 2.27beta

Stephen, seems you are not aware that the unit will switch off at 130m, meaning it is bricked until you surface, connect to USB and find a magnet. No way to even get time or depth information. With these information any experienced diver should be able to surface alive (and find his way to the chamb...

Re: New firmware 2.27beta

Thx Matthias for clarifying. I just checked my mails and found a message related to the depth from Christian some years ago but relating to the DR5. Sorry, got this mixed in my memories or got to much inert gas bubbles in my brain. heinrichsweikamp Wrote: > a > non-working computer may be safer then...

Re: New firmware 2.27beta

No, the shutdown is coded in software. And yes, why not have an online compile service? Shouldn't be that tricky. If someone goes for rewriting the firmware, the for sure choose the Linux way would be choosen where one can configure what and how to compile. This would also save some CF for sure...

If you guys are going to modify the firmware by yourself, can someone PLEASE compile a version without this shutdown at 130m!? Thx a lot!

Is someone of you compiling the firmware using a linux box?

Nein Chili, Phippu meint die fehlende Anzeige nach Ende der Deko - finde ich auch sehr schade und habe ich schon länger in meiner Wunschliste (siehe Footer).

A scrubber timer would really be useful, just "raised". A simple counter or storing the dive number when it got refreshed the last time would be enough...

Not sure if this is related to 2.23 with the new CF for adjusting the color of inactive gases, but in my gas list all gases are white/shown as active (including the inactive ones)...

I've just updated the list to reflect the current situation. I also added a priority from my side of view and sort the issues. The 130m shut down is something I still can not understand why it is there. Might become a blocker for me in the near future. I'll stress this request in the next weeks as o...
