Re: Changing Salinity Setting
Maybe then, for the sake of clarity, the salinity adjustment menu of the computer should present the options in PSU, as it seems that most places use those units.

Scale on the diving profile graph
Hi all,
Yesterday I had a nocturnal dive with my OSTC Mk2 for the first time and it was AWESOME. BTW, I miss I little feature after the dive: having a scale superimposed over the diving profile graph (both time and depth). It would help to better measure the bottom time on the screen in order to ...

Re: Changing Salinity Setting
I'm starting to doubt about what I previously wrote. It seems that the units represented both in the map that Mornemont pointed out and my links are related to parts per million, or miligrams per kilogram. Assuming that more or less one kilogram of fresh water takes 1 litre of volume, the most ...

Re: Changing Salinity Setting
I'd choose 1.03kg/l for the North Sea:
http://www.mumm.ac.be/EN/NorthSea/facts.php
And I'd increase it to 1.04kg/l for the Mediterranean Sea:

Re: HW web page issues
I`ve just tested it again on the GNU/Linux environment after installing the flashplugin-nonfree package and it works flawlessly.
As a suggestion, I'd introduce some flash sensing code to the main page so anybody and may still have it not installed, do it. The HTML rendering (without flash) makes ...

Re: HW web page issues
Ok Matthias, it seems that my other systems are not too flash friendly ;) Specially Apple ones who hate it and force the users to switch to HTML5.
I think that maybe the Flash set you are using is very specialized so generic Flash renderers such the ones freely available for GNU/Linux (gnash, not ...

Re: Red dots and message
Thanks for the clarifications.
Regarding the MD2 has, I have checked on "Firmware checker" button on Diving Log proggie, and it says "This firmware is not installed on your OSTC" regarding firmware version 1.60 and the ID you have on the web page. The thing is, maybe the ID changes if you change ...

HW web page issues
Hi,
I'd like to remark a couple of issues that should be taken care of:
* The web page isn't correctly rendered on non Windows web browsers. Have tried to see it with Firefox/Chrome on GNU/Linux (Ubunutu 10.04), on an Android 2.1 and on an iPad (Safari). It is completely unusable on those non ...

Red dots and message
Hi all,
I did just receive my OSTC Mk.2 new computer and I have a couple of questions that I hope someone may be able to answer me:
* On surface mode, at the lower left corner, I see two red dots on a single line. What are those? What do they mean? When I first powered it on the lowest line had ...
