Re: MK2 military version
I have received the MK2 and here are the differences I found: There is no battery info menu. There is a Headings menu and you can set 10 headings/time (in degrees and seconds) to navigate. I played with the simulator and there is an option to start the navigation: it shows the heading to follow and ...

MK2 military version
Hello, I have bought a Bonex navigation unit that comes with a MK2 computer. It is in a military version (as seen on the photo) and I would like to know if I can flash a normal firmware in it. And by the way, what are the differences between the normal version and the military version? [IMG]https://...

Re: Cave warning
With CF56 you set the SAC rate in l/min or bar/min, whatever you want. With CF59 you program the alarm when you reach the gas consumption you want. An example: You take two S80 filled at 200bar as bailout. In case of bailout you want to keep half of the gas available in case anything goes really wro...

Re: 180° display rotation option
Why do you want this option? It's useless on a computer where no connectors can be plugged in.
On the OSTC3 it makes sense, not on the OSTC2.

Re: Surface Interval start...
I am very fine with the way SI is implemented. I would be very fine if it was implemented the way you want. You think this is a bug but others don't (and most important of all, HW don't see this as a major bug). So if you want it to be changed, either provide some stronger arguments or find someone ...

Rich,
As the code is open source, you are free to correct what you think is a bug. HW published all the informations needed to achieve such a task.
If for any reason you are not able to do the change by yourself, you will have to live with it.

The code is under the GPL so anybody is free to use it, modify it on whatever platform he wants. Changes must be published.

No, just put the computer into sleep mode in order to conserve battery.

New menu entry: Goto sleep. Possible? Useful?
Hello,
Would it be possible to have a new menu entry to put the computer into sleep mode immediately?
Do you think it would be a useful feature or not?

Hello all,
Yes, it looks like this is a modified version from the manufacturer with minor changes.
As I don't own this computer (and have no plan to do so), I won't look at the source code (I can't read russian).
Thank you for the informations.

Hello,
A friend just received his Russian OSTC (Seawooch) and the firmware version on the screen is 2.70+. Is it normal? Or is it a modified version from the manufacturer?

Re: Clarification on new CF59
You can do whathever you want with your computer but again, it is not meant to be used in OC but in CCR mode in a CAVE. En français dans le texte: cette fonction n'est utile qu'en recycleur en plongée souterraine. En OC, tu as tes manomètres et tu dois connaitre ta consommation. De plus, cette fonct...
