As and when the transmitters become available, is there any indication as to their individual prices ( as it looks as if each computer can handle 5 transmitters? ) and the computer comes with 1?

Ok...

I did what [DF] suggested:

Ran Sim for a 36mtr dive and NDL was way off
Reverted back to 2.65
Cleared deco data
Ran Sim again, NDL looked to be better
Updated to 2.70 again
Cleared Deco Data again
Restored settings
Ran Sim again, NDL matched what was showing under 2.65

Hopefully diving this ...

I will try tonight....I'm hoping it does, as we seem to be running out of ideas...:S

As an idea, i have not been out of CC mode since upgrading to 2.70 ( but will have to next week), so maybe as DF has done, you need to force from CC/OC/CC to fix?????

Did you managed to replicate any of these issues over the weekend?

I'm a trifle concerned now about using this open circut next week as a primary computer... as i really don't know if these issues persist just when running in CC mode

Well another dive on Saturday 33mtr for just under 60 total dive time and again the NDL was out until deco ( by about 8 minutes ) and then starting match no problem. TTS + 5 was on and this again was out showing NDL when the Predator would be in deco.

Yes i do have the @+5 TTS, and am using my hardwired predator as primary. I have a horrible feeling the +5 is out as well... I will confirm on the dive tomorrow with my OSTC running 2.70 and the wifes back to prior ...

And another from last week if that helps, and i tried to force the gas switch to gas 1 even though i was already on gas 1 to see if that caused a dec recalc...@

A further update, dived last weekend, and again was 10 minutes adrift on NDL and then again hit deco on the Predator and the OSTC flipped into Deco mirroring within reason ( 1-2 mins more ). So that has now been 4 dives ...

Well Yesterday's dive....

after performing what was said in my previous post....

total dive 34 mtrs for 64 min. Again, identical settings with the 1 exception of 1.25 set point set on the OSTC and 1.3 on the shearwater.

with 1 min of NDL left on the shearwater, my OSTC said i had 10( which is ...

Yes, the first sp is set correctly ( and was displaying 1.25 throughout the dive)
I only ever jump between stable versions so no beta was ever installed.

Its just very strange that once deco obligation is started, it corrects itself.

I am going to back up the CF's tonight, and do a CF ...

OK, some very strange behavour on my MK2, today running V2.70. Please advise as to what i have missed in the update ( note, i only ever update to stable revisions)

I mimic my hardwired Predator, with all settings with the exception of just lowering SP1 to 1.25, so 2 dives today:

Both dives shallow ...

Looks like we have an XP COM port fix, re-assign through Device Manager to another COM port now works with Bootloader/DiveLog and OSTC-Planner

My MK2 under XP for Bootloader/DivingLog etc always comes up as COM10
My MK2 under Win7( which works for OSTC-Planner) lists as COM3

On the XP machine I've tried all USB ports with all COM ( 1-16 ) and none work

Now that i have managed to upgrade my MK2 to 2.09 Beta, i can download/upload settings on a Win7 machine on COM3

Nope, units are turned on, USB cable connected, and set to same COM port as diving Log software ( well i've tried all COM settings )

Still not talking, and i know the unit is working fine as i've just updated to BETA 2.09

Do i have to put the OSTC into any mode or just leave as switched on?

A quick sanity check

Just running some simulations in 1.81, should it allow you to switch to a de-activated gas in the gas list? because it does.. bog standard air dive, with a switch to 100% ( flagged as inactive ) and off you go, simulator quite happy. Is this right?
