Safely Charging 2n

Hi There,

Am I right in thinking the charging circuitry is in the 2n, not in a USB wall charger, so it is safe to use a 1.5 Amp "charger", up until now I have always used a 1.0 Amp USB charger with my 2n.
In your opinion would using the higher Amp USB charger shorten the battery life ?

Re: How do I set the clock??

Diving Log (http://www.divinglog.de/) has a nice feature to do that when you connect your 2n. Click the "Advanced Settings" button in the OSTC download dialog on the PC and enable the "AutoSetTime" setting - will set the 2n time to your PC time..

Re: Charge battery OSTC N2

You can also use a phone type plug USB charger to charge a 2n with the suppplied USB cable.. I find USB from a Laptop takes longer to charge..
Also means you don't need a PC on..
Typically IMHO Output DC 5v - 1000 mA

Hansjoerg,

How do you get on with the Acer ? Seem to be quite a few manufacturers making Tablets or Tablets with extra Keyboards, and some make Tablet / Laptop conversions

CF29: Depth of last decompression stop

Hi All,

I understand the above lets you set the depth of the last deco stop - default 3m. Why is the default 3m do most people leave it so ?
How does it coexist with the new CF65 for the "Safety Stop" if CF29 is set to 6m ?

Any tips appreciated..
