Re: Custom text Line
Diving Log is IMHO very good. You can also import from other software i.e. Suunto etc. BTW you can also change the colour of the custom text, via the 2n colour options. A request I had recently on a friends 2n.

Borosilicate Glass - Scratch healed in the Red Sea !!!
Hi There, Well I am glad to say I have at last used my 2n properly. Just completed my TDI Adv Nitrox and Deco Pro in the beautiful Red Sea with Dahab Divers Technical http://www.dahabdiverstechnical.com/ I must say these guys are amazing. If they can drag me past recreational to Tech then they must ...

Re: safety stops
Do you mean do the last safety stop at 6m ? Look at Custom Function CF29:Depth of last Decostop With this value, the depth of the last decostop can be configured (e.g. 6m instead of 3m), the decompression calculations are adjusted automatically. Recommend range: 3 or 6 (3m or 6m) Default setting: 3 ...

Re: Two simple clicks to update firmware...erm!
The current description for updating the firware is incorrect as it has changed with Bootloader ver 2 The steps are (for Windows 7 PC's): 1. Download and extract the latest Bootloader V2 for windows from this page: Software for 2n 2. Attach 2N to PC with the USB cable (can be used as a screwdriver ...

Re: New firmware 2.0 stable is now available
Sven, Good point. Re new values. I would have thought though that safely set custom functions could stay as they were, and have new custom functions added, by the update. Not a problem now I have noted which ones I have changed. Tiefunten, All mine were reset, but I went from 1.9 stable to 2.0 ...

The "Please wait" can take some time - mine was approx 4-5 mins. Maybe it should say "Go and get a coffee, drink coffee and come back"

Re: New firmware 2.0 stable is now available
All, OSTC 2n firmware upgrade: Nice smooth upgrade..whilst the upgrade was in process the "w" of the weikamp flashed blue - nice. The end "wait" message stayed for about 5 minutes and then the 2n rebooted OK. Diving Log: I seem to have lost my Custom functions. Reading in this thread, I think I can ...

OSTC 2n First dives
All, At last my 2n is wet. Did 2 weeks of diving, and I am very impressed. Nice piece of kit, which makes my (now secondary Suunto) DC look very poor. Screen layout, functionality, display, battery life, build quality all top notch. A nice touch are the customisations, another OSTC diver told me of ...

Re: Dive mode Display
Darran,
I read that thanks. I presumed the Simulator was to simulate dives whilst on land and not underwater - when you would be in dive mode.
