Re: Confusion about custom functions

I'm at work so I don't have my OSTC with me but from memory, CF14 will let you choose when you want to see GF. Example you might want to see it at 20% so it will be displayed when the GF reaches 20%. This will be shown in white (the "normal" color) CF45 will show you the GF in red (if that...

Gas switch displayed as deco

I think my message got lost in the Firmware thread so I'll post it again here. I've realized that with the new V2.20 the OSTC adds 1 minute to your deco plan at the depth of the gas switch regardless if CF55 is set to 0. Personally I don't like it at all because, for me it doesn't make sense to have...

Awesome work. Really looking forward to it.

On a side note, can I post some feedback about the UI ?

Super merci beaucoup. Je me réjouis d'essayer tout ça.

P.s: pourrais-je faire des remarques sur l'interface ?

Re: New Firmware 2.2 stable available for the OSTC 2N/Mk.2

I did a dive earlier today and I had some weird deco from time to time. It would display a deco stop at 11m..... It did so quite a few times and very early in the dive. I looked over my buddy's OSTC (v2.0) and it showed 9m 1' while I did not have that minute at 9m but at 11m. So quickly I looked at ...

Re: OSTC Planner - new decompression software.

I voted for iOS so I could use it on the road which would be so awesome really. I also wanted to vote for Mac OS as it is what I have at home (on my computer and maybe iPad soon -if my wife will be convincing enough for me to buy one) as I'd rather look at the planning on a 24" display rather t...

Re: Backup CF Settings

I have 1 question. Would you think it would be possible for you to make an iOS version of it ? I ask this because it would be awesome to have it on my iPhone so when I'm on vacation I can plan my dives on the spot. I don't have a laptop so it would help me tons. I know that there are other softwares...

Thanks for the pictures. I shall try it right away.

I hope this works because I was looking for a way to use the same bungee for wet and dry suit without untying them.

Thanks again

Re: start screen before diving

Indeed I didn't. :) the only time I pressed the right button was when I wanted to access the menu but hit the right instead of the left button. So I never went past the tissue saturation info (which btw, I found of little to no use) and it is quick enough. UI wise though it's not the best way to sho...

Re: start screen before diving

Well I kinda like the idea (except the press enter thingy). It can never be wrong to have a screen with all the info available right before you dive. And when I say right before, I mean you are in the water about to put you head under it. It is never a bad idea, regardless of the experience of the d...

Re: Active gases

I guess what you posted stands true from a safety point of view. And it makes sense. The question came from the procedure a friend of mine uses. He dives with his twin 10L and takes a extra 7L bottle filled with Nx40. The idea is not really to improve deco time but more to have extra gas. Why Nx40 ?...

Active gases

I ran a search but did not really find the information I looked for. I have few question about active gases and how you set them up affect the deco calculation. Here's a few scenarii. 1) 1st gas air 2nd gas NX80 (not active) If I understand it right, deco is calculated as if I was only diving with ai...

Re: General info

Well pretty much everything has been said by the others and I agree with them. The question you should ask yourself is what kind of diving are you doing. Tech ? Trimix ? Then the OSTC is the best you can find around because it's extremely well made, lots of features, OLED screen, Great community, aw...
