Re: CF17 Low ppO2 Warning rationale
Matthias has just pushed before the end of 2012 a patch in this sens :
Set CF17 (ppo2_warning_low) low level to 0.16bar
Before :
CF17 has to stay in [0.19b...0.21b] with 0.19b as default value
Now (2.59 beta) :
CF17 has to stay in [0.16b...0.21b] with 0.19b still the default value

CF17 has to stay in [0.19b...0.21b] with 0.19b as default value
Now (2.59 beta) :

Re: CF17 Low ppO2 Warning rationale
Just my 2 cents ... The limit of 0.16b is also the minimum allowed by the French law if you want to dive in a French structure. Article A322-91 : La valeur de la pression partielle minimale d'oxygène inspiré par le plongeur est limitée à 160 hPa (0,16 bar). La valeur de la pression partielle maximal...

Re: Firmware - quo vadis?
I agree with your analyse on the backend but my vision is that the frontend does not only "connect" to the owner of the OSTC that has moved to the new FW. What about the connexion with : - other OSTC owners with old FW - 3rd party softwares - all documentations, forum and blogs that alread...

Re: Firmware - quo vadis?
Before renaming all CF, a first step could be to just regroup them in dedicated menus. 1. Remove CF_I, CF_II and CF_III menus 2. Create new menus as proposed by Bardass for example 3. Spread the CFxx (without renaming) into the menus Honnestly, I don't care to jump from CF12 to CF32 when I browse pa...

Re: OSTC_eeprom.h
As far as I can see, this stub is just used to simulate the accesses to CF54 ... CF58.
You can easily stub the code but you will loose the benefit of reusing a maintained p2_deco.c file which is also embedded like that in the OSTC.

Clarification on CF18 and CF46
Hello, I've been asked for clarifications on CF18 and CF46. Apparently the CF docs (at least English and French version) are not clear on the subject and need more explanations... My understanding : CF18 [0..1.6] has 3 effects : * during gas configuration CF18, is used to compute the MOD according g...
