Re: OSTC Planner
Guys, Sorry to resurrect such an old subject but I've come across another issue. The last time I updated my firmware was when I posted this. So initially I was able to upload the firmware but had problems reading / updating the CF's. I uploaded the version suggested and had no problems with the CF's...

OSTC Planner
Sorry if it's bad form to use this forum to ask about another piece of software but I couldn't think of anywhere more appropriate. Is anyone else using OSCT Planner at the moment? Are you having any problems? I have recently installed it onto a Mac and have updated the OSTC 2N firmware to 3.00 witho...

Re: Mac 10.10.1 Yosemite
I was a bit reluctant to just plug it in as I know it can cause all sorts of problems if the drivers are not installed on windows ( or at least it did with XP some time ago). I don't know enough about the Mac to know whether it will be an issue or not.

Mac 10.10.1 Yosemite
Hi, I've just switched over from PC to Mac. I have read in the FTDI installation guide that OSX Mavericks has the drivers already installed. Does anyone have any experience with Yosemite? Are the drivers installed already? If not, when I plug the OSTC 2 in for the first time, will it automatically l...

Thanks. Plugged it in and it was found with no problems. A real improvement over my old XP.

Windows 8
Hi, my desktop PC running XP is now dead. I've just got a laptop running windows 8. Before I plug in my OSTC2 can anyone tell me if the drivers will load automatically like they do for windows 7

Re: CNS% Issue again.
Hi Matthias, Sorry about the delay. I'm not sure what's going on. I have just picked the OSTC up out of the box and ran a simulation (without fiddling with any mixes). I meant to run it to a depth of 51m for 21mins again but went to 23min by mistake. I ran that anyway and the CNS% came out at 78%. I...

CNS% Issue again.
I've had some odd readings in the past when I use the in built simulator/planner on my OSTC2n. I've created a thread about it in the past. CNS%? I thought this was resolved but I'm having some odd calculations coming up again. I'm not Trimix Trained so please don't shoot me down about the mixes used...

If you mean the custom text you will need something like OSTC Tools or OSTC Planner. There is quite a bit on the forum regarding changing the custom text and if I was any good with my iPhone I would post a link. If you use the search facility you should find something helpful (just change the defaul...

Re: New firmware 2.59beta
Hi,
The new Beta is looking good. I've not dived with it but have been playing around with the unit and see that CF70 seems to have a limit of 4:10 - was that intentional? (not that I want to change it, I was just curious)
Regards
Jerry
