To be more precise, my question should be read as "can the OSTC handle deco stops after a diver surfaced in emergency and went back in the water ?" (not to dive normally, only to do the deco). E.g in the case one has to bring an unconscious buddy to the surface, or get an additional ...

Hi,
Could someone explain how does the OSTC handle emergency ascents ? (i.e. when reaching the surface without doing all/any of your deco stops)
Does it enter into an error mode or does it allow to return into the water in a certain time frame and do your deco with some penalties ?
