ZH16-OC Vs GF Calculations
Hi Guys,
I am in a discussion on another forum about some of the Custom Functions on the OSTC-2n.
I thought that when using the GF algortythm, the Custom functions CF11 & CF12 played no part as they are used in the NON GF algorythm?
Can someone elaborate on how these work alongside CF's 32 & 33 ...

Re: Wishlist for FW 2.28+
Hi Folks,
Love my OSTC2n, cant see me needing anything more than this.
However, only 1 thing really niggles me...
Can we have the "Exit" option at the TOP of every menu instead of the bottom?
This would save a LOT of button presses after setting gasses etc as sometimes you have to escape ...

Re: Safety Stop/Sicherheits Stop
Interestingly, when I looked at it, it said Default "Off" Current setting "on" and it wouldnt work. I changed it from on, to off, and back again, and it worked fine. I wonder if it was really defaulted to "off" regardless of what it displayed?

Re: Safety Stop/Sicherheits Stop
Hi,
ok, tried it on 3 dives yesterday and it works fine, however, one annomaly is that it switches into safety stop at 4.99M, but switches back off at 5.1.
It does however still seem to count down, just dissapears off the display until you ascent above 4.9 meters again.

Hi,
The saftey stop is displayed between 5 and 3m (4.99m to 3.00m). The length is 3minutes. The time is reset when diving > 10m again. If the dive was a deco dive it's not shown.

Sounds absolutely perfect to me.

Hi Guys,
New OSTC 2n owner here and I would also love the convenience of the ability to implement a 3m safety stop if the diving I am doing calls for one.
IE: My trip to Egypt in September.
It seems that this feature alone would open up a new market for the company as the UK distributor, "Deep ...

Hi,

However, I thought my own implementation of the "safety stop" that I just explained in my opening post was perfectly adequate when all the divers I am with are using one and I want to hang around a similar length of time, which is especially ...

How to setup my new OSTC2n to be conservative
Hi Guys,
Bought my new OSTC2n and absolutely love it, surely one of the best displays out there and wicked to use.
I will be using it mostly for recreational diving with buddies around the UK and would thus like to set it up to give stops in a smiliar manner to buddies Suunto's etc. What is the ...
