Re: New 2.60beta available for download

Happy with the new changes, cannot see any real benefit from the above proposals.

>> NEW: Hard-coded min. Values for CF00 and CF01
minutes for CF00 and CF01, are you shure? This where meters.

min would mean Minimum I think.

Re: Ceiling Popping Up - Take 2

What wrobell describes also happens with other computers. For example, my various Uwatec computers did this. However, this does seem to be the same as the depth is constant.

Re: Ceiling Popping Up - Take 2

Is it possible that the first screen is calculating deco on 10/50 mix and then a few seconds later recalculates doing deco from 10 m on 80/0. The third one is also calculating on 10/50 and then doing the deco from 10 m on 80/0 and then a few seconds later, recalculates on doing ascent from 30 m to 1...

Matthias, I realise the practical reasons behind this, but as gorcio says, is it possible to change so that it is only minutes?

Re: New firmware 2.59beta

Have done three dives with 2.59. One was over 30 m and just into deco. All worked well, although the limitation of 4 mins (and 10 seconds) for the safety stop is a bit annoying.

Used 2.57 on a couple of dives before we went on a 4WD camping holiday before Xmas. Worked perfectly as far as I could see.

Great to hear Matthias. Most of us use for tech and non-tech diving, so it needs to meet both needs. As well, this surely increases your potential market.

Used for two dives on the weekend. The alternate GF feature seems to work well. Hated going back to the safety stop of needing to stay above 5 m though!

Very strange with me, as the laptop under the house now works also, even though I did not touch. It now uses COM4 as I set on my normal laptop but I did not change this. Weird!

Re: Help needed, cant manage to conect ostc 2n to pc

Well, now have it working again on my laptop. Totally uninstalled everything to do with OSTC and the driver and started again. Now to attack the laptop under the house and the netbook. Thanks for all your help.

Yes, could be the Java updates, sick of how often they occur.

Re: Help needed, cant manage to conect ostc 2n to pc

Okay, interesting. I attached to my wife's laptop, installed and can get OSTC Tools to run and upload and download. So it is not the cable or the OSTC. However, I cannot get JDivelog to work. Very strange. Will work more on this.

Re: Help needed, cant manage to conect ostc 2n to pc

My OSTC has all of a sudden stopped being able to be downloaded. It was working last Thursday but over the weekend I tried literally hundreds of times to connect. This was using three different laptops where it has previously worked. It will charge, but no connection using the various software. I ha...

Re: Decoinfo TFS

Diego

When the figure after the TFS figure is 0.0, TFS is the no-deco time. Then, when you have deco, the figure after TFS is the length of first stop and the next figure is the depth. This is from looking at some of my deep dives.

Temperature is definitely Kelvin.

Re: Change request - safety stop in NDL

I fail to understand why some people so object to this proposal. If you do not like it, do not turn it on. Like many others here, I do both deep decompression dives but I also do medium depth boat dives and shallow shore dives. The safety stop feature is very handy, means I do not have to remember t...
