Re: Probelms uploading to CCR dives to Divinglog5

Hi David

I had this happening in the past. In this case a custom function was out of range. Try resetting the CF and try to download again. If it still does not work, please enable "WriteToBinary" in the download settings in Diving Log and email me the OSTC.bin file.

Re: Logbuch

Zukünftige Tauchgänge so...

Re: Depth in Diving Log

As I've written in the Diving Log forum, that's normal behaviour and expected. The max depth from the header is never identical with the profile max. depth. The depth data is imported correctly.

Re: Depth in Diving Log

Make sure you are using the "OSTC Downloader", not the "Universal Downloader" in Diving Log, because the universal calculates the max. depth from the profile. I do import the max. depth straight from the OSTC, without any salinity adjustment or other modification.

There is already a post in the Diving Log forum and we're trying to figure out why it's not working. Matthias, the Frog download still works in general with the current firmware?

Re: Logbuch OSTC 2N

On Windows 7 the driver should be installed automatically from Windows Update. Make sure that you've switched the OSTC on, then check the COM port list for available ports and try every port.

Re: Differences in Dive Log programs on computer

Jef (TnT) explained it already very well. Diving Log takes the dive time from the dive header (not from the profile) and substracts it from the exit time to get the entry time. That's a very simple calculation and as long as the dive time in the header is correct, the entry time is correct. If the h...

Re: Download via Win7 HP (Parallels 7 VM) to Divelog 5.0.6 (Mac OSX)

Hi Albo It sounds like an interrupted transfer and some missing bytes from the profile data. Maybe it is a timing or driver issue, but I think it will be difficult to find the root of the problem. You can try to remove the VCP drivers, because on Windows 7 you don't have to install the driver manual...

Re: Amount of LogBook Entries

@tiefunten: the downside of an increased logbook memory is, that the downloading of the dive data takes a lot longer. So people who download every single dive have to wait much longer each time.

Diving Log with Frog and DR5 Multideco support

I've released an update for Diving Log which adds support for downloading the new Frog computer and can import UDDF 3.0 files, created by Multideco for DR5. Download: http:...

Maybe you have set the download setting "Read from Binary" to "True"? That will read a memory dump instead from the device.

Re: More Logbook-Capacity!?

Syncing dive computers to iPad or iPhone will probably not happen in the near future. Apple requires an expensive and very strict hardware certification to connect anything to the dock connector. I'm no iOS developer myself, but I'm in contact with More Mobile Software and Greg told me that it's ver...

Re: Setting Temperature...

As far as I know there was a temperature calibration in the OSTC 1 (you could do it from the Diving Log dialog), but I'm not sure if this is still necessary for the latest OSTC, I'll have to ask Matthias. The "Write to OSTC" button will however not calibrate or influence the temperature, i...

Hallo Simon

Re: New firmware 2.0 stable is now available

Hi Custom Functions will be resetted by the OSTC after a firmware update, that is by design and for safety reasons. I do not recommend using the "WriteToBinary" and "ReadFromBinary" functions in Diving Log to workaround this issue. It works, but you do that on your own risk and y...
