Re: Confusion about custom functions

Not 100% certain. But yes it has something to do with high altitude and flying.
CF06 and 07

Believe me there are no redundant CF's.

Kostet halt was. Es hat jede Menge Einträge in diesem Forum die dir erklären wie du den OSTC konfigurieren kannst. Bevor du aber einfach d...

Re: Missing com port´s in JDiveLog

U have to choose mk2, not auto. If u have firmware 1.9 or higher u need to choose whats in the print screen.
Whats relevant is the FW version.

Re: Missing com port´s in JDiveLog

Have you re-installed jDivelog?

You have to configure the OSTC in jDivelog like this:

Farbe oder nicht farbe...
Ich denke dasss der frog ein anderes Segement von Tauchern anspricht, welches auch mehr wert auf "mode" setzt. Aus diesem Gesichtspunkt gesehen ist grün nicht schlecht. Ich würde aber Orange bevorzugen.

Re: Missing com port´s in JDiveLog

As scubatinoo says, have you installed virtual com port driver. Without that you cannot make any firmware updates or connect to Logbook software. What do you mean with cannot finde the com port in jdivelog? a. you don't know where to configure it b. the com port in jdive log that is available does n...

Re: Missing com port´s in JDiveLog

Hi tbs

1. What Operating system? Mac / Winxp / Win7
2. Have you read this forum entry:
OSTC unable to connect
and this
No connection between my Mac os und jdivelog

You should find plenty of information in the forum on how to connect the OSTC to Mac of Win OS. Also with DivingLog.

@tiefunten
Shouldn't you be able to increase the logbook capacity by reducing the sampling rate. There should be another thread about this...

Re: Can not change color on the battery indicator

I suspect the reason for this is, that you can only change the color for the full charge and if the battery is discharging it turns yellow.

So charge you OSTC until its full, then you'll see if the colour changes. How do you update the CF's?

Guys, synchronising on Android is not possible, with Bluetooth or USB or anything else for that matter.

I've spoken to Sven about it and he'll be concentrating on Win8 for Tablets.

Re: Explanation on new graph. velocity (CF60)

Is there really that much to understand?
If you want precision then you read the numeric display. If you want to know at a glance whether you go up to fast or not, just look at the graphic display.
At least that't how I go about it.

Re: New Firmware 2.2 stable available for the OSTC 2N/Mk.2

Did 3 dives. - Menu reaction time considerably improved. - Graphical velocity display is a nice improvement. Its easier to keep an eye on the ascent rate that way. And if you want more precision there is still the numeric display of the ascent speed. The OSTC tends to give me 1 min more deco than th...

I am afraid Australia Post is being bloody minded cause according to IATA Regulations Li-Ion batteries can be sent without Lithium battery label and documentation if they are: - Installed in the equipment - The cell has =< 20Wh - The battery/pack =< 100Wh You might be able to send the 2N with DHL. @cheeseandjamsandwich

Even if it was possible to adjust temp, I still cannot see any value in doing it under water if you can do it easily with the PC.
