Been diving the beta now for several months on my primary ostc4 (fisher) and backup ostc4. Works no problem.
Loving it.

Re: Considering getting OSTC 4
Hi Walde, According to this forum entry AI is not planned for the OSTC4: https://forum.heinrichsweikamp.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=16498&p=23086&hilit=Air+integration#p23086 And I don't really believe that AI is suitable for serious technical diving. You can find the hardware t...

When the battery gets to 80% I usually charge it overnight (12h) and it gets to 99% (still charging). Thats enough for me.

Re: Newbie question - Fischer cable
Allenfalls könntest du nen s8 Anschluss in betracht zieh...

If you are just starting SM keep the task load low. You can always experiment later when you're proficient.

Re: OSTC Sport set up for sidemount
Actually from a cave diving point of view at the end of the dive you should have roughly the same amount in both tanks. However in your case add it up and divide by two.Just treat it as one tank. With doubles BM its as if you had one tank anyway.(unless you dive with the bridge closed). Your SM inst...

Re: OSTC Sport set up for sidemount
Do you have different gases in the tanks? I would have thought not. Although, I am not using the Sport, I don't really see why you would want to set up two "different" gasses and swap between them on the ostc when you swap between the tanks. It doesn't make a difference to the deko calcula...

Re: OSTC2 Custom Functions documentation
As far as I can remember you have to do that with an App. I can't remember that there is a CF for the custom text. Its much easier with an app anyway.

Re: OSTC 2 failing at 115m - screen bend in - stuck in dive loop after?
I've had my 2N for 8 years and even its battery is still top. But by now I do use it as a spare.
I think yours is a dead loss and even if it could be repaired you should buy a new ostc.

Thanks Sven. I now just hold it with a bungee in place. That works perfect too.[img][/img]

For next HW series: ➡️ 1. Vibration alarm on high/low PO2 for CCR (Please!!) 2. Cave function in OC AND CCR mode (Please!!) 3. Add scrubber time for a second scrubber (Sidewinder or Revo) ---> the current implementation is of no use, as only one scrubber counts down. :( 4. Total dive time for all cc...

CO2 scrubber duration timer
Feature request.
Would it be possible to get a "Stack Timer" (CO2 scrubber duration timer), as with the Shearwater. Would help with keeping track with the scrubbers.

Bailout and returning to CCR
I am asking the CCR diver community who are using the OSTC4 on their thoughts of the Menu Setup for the Bailout. As I am a newbie with the CCR, we are training bailouts which means switching back and forth on the OSTC between CCR mode (sensor) and Bailout/SetPoint. Switching back to the "sensor...
