Just carry on diving and the log will eventually 'roll-over' and be purged.

Re: MK2 military version
I suspect it's just a standard OSTCmk2 but with a custom firmware on it. I think you'll be able to go from the mil firmware to standard firmware but you may bot be able to go back again.

The firmware file is different for each language, you'll need to download the German firmware and reflash this.

Try soaking it in some warm fresh water for a while. It could be some salt crystals built up

What version of Subsurface are you using? I use El Capitan, Subsurface (latest official) and an OSTC mk2 and it works just fine.

I'd guess C but would also be interested to hear this
As I understand it;
A = pre compiled tables
B = dive planning software
C = Computers

Re: Can you reset the stopwatch mid-dive?
Ah ok, I figured that'd reset the average depth but wasn't aware it'd do the stopwatch/timer too.
Just had a go in the Simulator and yes, works exactly as you describe.
Thanks

Can you reset the stopwatch mid-dive?
I have an OSTC Mk2 running 3.13 firmware. During a dive, I can find the option to reset average depth but can you reset the stopwatch during the dive? For example I'd like to reset the stopwatch to 0 when I start the ascent so that I can time my stops more easily. I know I can just take a record of ...

Which applications? I use Win10 and Subsurface for my OSTC needs.
As far as i know it's only the BootLoader software for updating firmware that HW actually make themselves. All other applications are made and supported by third parties.

You want your name displayed on the main front screen of the computer?
I used OSTCTools I think but something like Subsurface can do it too.

I'd upgrade to the latest firmware myself as any issues you are experiencing may already be fixed with new firmware. If you are still having issues afterward then investigate further.

That's not changing their sensitivity, that's making the computer respond to the pressing of the button quicker (removing a lag). You'll still have to press the button as hard as previously.

I think Anton has isolated this as a Subsurface issue rather than a Heinrichs Weikamp issue so problem solved.
