So i missunderstood the altimeter function... but if the altimeter is not used for anything, why is it interesting? there are less expensive digital altimeters available...

If i'm standing at a lake 2000 meters above sealevel, how can i check that my OSTC uses "the right altitude"?

Ambient pressure in 2000m can change by weatherconditions...

How does the OSTC react in higher altitudes? Are there any ranges like 0-700m, 700-1500m and 1500 and higher or will the calculating be done by actual pressure? It's just because i red in the manual, that the sensor (Barometer) "is not very exact"... Wie funktioniert der OSTC in grösserer ...

aaah, confusion is perfect... the numbers in the loogbook overview aren't the dive numbers? why that? is space limited when it comes to 4- oder 5-digit dive numbers?

Error: Update installation failed

The software started downloading the update, but then canceled the installation process because "a old version was found". i would have to deinstall the program first, before i can do the update... But then i can't do the update automaticaly
