Re: OSTC External Interface Description - latest Version and Question
Servus Laurie, it's not that complicated. Deco/NDL is a shown in 2 bytes the first one, byte0 is the depth of the stop if the depth is 0 then the value shows that we are in the non deco mode and byte 1 is the NDL time. If we are in decomode (byte0 > 0 then byte 1 is the time of the decostop. Ups, Ma...

Re: OSTC External Interface Description - latest Version and Question
Hi Laurie, but even the "new" doc says; "Deco/NDL Status (2 bytes: byte0: =1 if within no deco limit , if in deco mode: depth of 1st stop; byte2: NDL in minutes or length of first stop in minutes)" The examples and the reality say somthing different; byte0=0 when NDL. So, let's c...

Hi there, sorry that my bug report switches to a feature request. That was not in my mind when i wrote the report. I gave all the information and ideas i have, to make it easier to find or solve the bugs. When the "non switch" to the dekogas is the problem, how about "enter the gas se...

Three bugs(?) in Firmware 2.20 / Drei Käfer(?) in Firmware 220
Hi there, i found some bugs in Firmware Version 220. First: The easy one: in EEProm Bank 0 the "total number of cf used in firmware" is wrong! I recieve 58. But this was never the number of CF in Firmware, this was always "the last CF in firmware". CF counting starts with 0 not w...

Firmware 2.20 - Cannot read Profiledata
Hi, sorry for the doublepost but i think this gets lost in the new firmware thread. Is there a change in reading the profile data from version 2.20? Im recieving only 7 bytes ( AA AA AA AA AA 55 00 hex). After the tranmission stops the OSTC is still in sending mode, at least on the display. Interfac...

Re: Logbuch Nummerierung
Servus, there are no dive numbers saved with the logbookdata. There is only a order of dives in the logbook. In this "logbookorder" the first dive is numbered as 1 the second as 2 and so on. Only the combination of CF28 and the number coming with the logbookorder creates the dive number - ...

Re: Documentation about tissues
Servus Peter,
thats easy, get the sourcecode in the subdirectory OSTC_code_c_part2 there is a file called p2_tables.romdata open it with a texteditor of your choice.
Its readable, even if you are not used to programming.
best regards
Rob

Re: Recreational dive mode
Hi JeanDo, the 3m/3m stop in Suuntoc computer is an additional stop that is shown in the dive computer just for safety. It has nothing to do with deco calculation. If you skip this stop nothing will happen. It ist just a 3 minutes timer that starts at 3m when your normal deco is finished. For my poi...

Hi xavier, there are some possibilities. You can use jdivelog to read the data from an OSTC. If you are interested in the binary data from the ostc, i, and i guess some others here too, have a program to export and save the binary data. My final program for reading dives and setup is not finished je...

Re: Logbook memory map - is this normal
Hallo Matthias, maybe the problem came becaus i have deleted the logbook (reset menu - reset logbook). The other profiledate i have are also from a brand new N2 with two dives and the initial dive that came with the N2. So this logbook was not resetted and the 0xFD 0xFD 0xFE sequence was where it sh...
