Well I am glad to say I have at last used my 2n properly.
Just completed my TDI Adv Nitrox and Deco Pro in the beautiful Red Sea with Dahab Divers Technical http://www.dahabdiverstechnical.com/
I must say these guys are amazing. If they can drag me past recreational to Tech then they must have skills
Anyway back on topic, my 1st day getting into my wing I scratched my 2n. MAN was I annoyed. In fact I'm glad no one could hear my language underwater !! I could feel the scratch with my nail.. It was as big as the Canyon in Dahab (well maybe not THAT big) DAMN
Tom at DDT (where I bought my 2n) had said though that the 2n has Borosilicate Glass which is self healing.
Now to be fair I took this with a "pinch of salt" seal healing glass - yeah sure.
Guess what, one afternoon later the scratch could hardly be felt, Next day completely gone - WOW, in fact DOUBLE WOW.
