[OSTC Plus] Bluetooth Connection Issues Verbindungsprobleme

Post by Nekton »

Greetings,

I can not download the diving logbook of my OSTC Plus with Subsurface.

So far I tried the following with OSTC Plus hwOS Sport 10.53 & 10.58 in Windows 7 and Ubuntu 16 with the Sitecom CN-516 Bluetooth adapter:
- rebooted PC / OSTC
- reinstalled Subsurface
- reinstalled Bluetooth driver
- used different COM Ports
- reinitialized Bluetooth connection PC OSTC several times
- used different computers
- used all available OSTCs in Subsurface
- searched forum for useful hints or information
- tried to mount OSTC manually in Ubuntu (without success)
- installed OSTC Companion 3.0 (CAN CONNECT (with OSTC Sport))
- installed OSTC Planner 2.70.5 (CAN NOT CONNECT (timeout))
- connected with OSTC Companion and tried to pair with Subsurface afterwards (blocked)
- several combinations of switching on Bluetooth on PC/OSTC, connecting, starting Subsurface and connecting
- searched Windows "device manager" (Gerätemanager) without success

The following logs are from Subsurface:

In addition I installed the FTDI VCP driver 2.12.0.0 and 2.12.28 to try it "old-school" via USB, but this did not work either (I could not figure out how to set USB as transfer mode).

I hope you can help me in this matter,
Fabian

/// Edit 22.12.2019:
I now got Windows 10 installed and it runs with the up-to-date version of Subsurface. I do not know why, but finally I can copy them to my harddrive.
Merry Christmas :)
