Whishlist man-machine interface

Post by bcaro »

Hello !

My remarks are :

Simulation mode :
When exiting and reentering simulation mode, depth and divetime are reseted to 3min /15m. It is very annoying when the depth is far above 15m (30 clics for 105m)

Surface mode /Gas setup :
from 21 to 99 % O2 for example= 78 clics

Dive mode / Gaslist
No exit. To exit : select the current gas (which is not reported) or more/more/close

Dive mode / Gaslist
to modify G6, il you want 99/0 and clic once too, you have 95 clics more clics to return to 99/0

Dive mode
The name of the current gas is not reported (G1->G6)

CFII / depthAlarm
13000 -> 600 = 70 clics even with step 100

In brief, there is too much clics mainly in dive mode and moreover in fall-back procedure.

Its not hard to tap fast with your fingertip 30 times (4 seconds?)

Change + to - and go in reverse

As above

How often do you do this? 70 clicks takes me about 10 seconds...

Why do you need to change the depth alarm? Or need one for that matter!?

That makes no sense! You have to monitor you dive computer during the dive anyway, or are you telling me that during a dive YOU are not aware at what depths you are diving!?

The Depth Alarm is set to 130m because the OSTC has a max operating depth of 130m.

Therefore we have many software like OSTCTools, OSTC Planner and others to change the CF's... With almost no clicks >:D<
