Dead OSTC Mk11

I now have a dead OSTC Mk11.

I have just tried to upgrade to firmware version 2.70 from 2.64 using OSTC Planner 434 (should have used bootloader) and it failed part way through giving me a screen of jumbled up words. Tried the magnetic reset and the screen cleared to be replaced with a blank screen and an orange light on the right hand side.

Using the magnet again causes the orange light to flash a few times but nothing else happens.

Please can anybody help? Off to the Red Sea on Friday and use it as a backup to my Inspiration Vision

Use the bootloader v1 section. Instead of choosing to reboot the unit with the menu option, toggle the reset with a magnet on the backside of the unit.

Thank you all now working. I think I also had a problem with a faulty cable.
