Feature request

Post by kaheksa »

It would be a nice feature if you could see at what depth off gasing will start during dive. Or a OFF GASING/ON GASING sign similar to the SW Petrel

What do you guys think?

Theoretically you should ascend at least 10 meters per minutes up to the offgas depth and no more than 10 meters per minute above that depth.
This is because up to that point all compartments are undersaturated and after at least on compartment is over saturation and starts offgassing.
Therefore you want to stop on gassing by ascending fast but you reduce your speed once you have a saturated compartment.

I run my deco on tables and for that specific reason I always add the offgassing depth to my tables. I believe it would be good to have a flag or indication stating if I am above the offgassing start depth (ie at least one compartment saturated).

I do support the feature request!
