Hi,
Currently in the dive's logbook dive profile view the minimum temperature is printed on the right side of the temperature curve (OSTC sport 10.05). This is confusing because during summer season the water temperature at the end of the dive is higher than in the deep.
I'd like to request the following feature:
- Print maximum water temperature (read at the end of the dive in 3m depth) on the same height than the end of the temperature curve.
- Print minimum water temperature at the same height than the bottom of the curve or just below the maximum water temperature.
Probably a scroll function where one can read the depth and temperature in the dive profile is a bit too complicated to implement with just two buttons.
Regards,
Bernd
OSTC 3/Sport feature request: temperature in logbook dive profile
Re: OSTC 3/Sport feature request: temperature in logbook dive profile
I like it how it is. Otherwise I think it would be overload. For detailed information, therefore yo can import it to a Logbooksoftware. The existing function is already good for an overview, although for the minimum and maximum and it is more than enough.(tu)

Hi,
Thanks for the feedback - some nice ideas.

Better to use the real max. temperature, maybe with some delay after starting the dive (1 minute should be enough).

I agree that this is something the OSTC screen and user interface is not ideal for.

Re: OSTC 3/Sport feature request: temperature in logbook dive profile
Usually it takes some time for the computer to cool down and probably after one minute one may have already crossed the cold water layer which is around 8-15m in summer season. That's why I was thinking using the temperature at the safety stop at the end of the time would be more accurate for the water high temperature.

This is a version with the max. temperature shown.

For the max. all parts above 1m were ignored.
