Re: New 1.54 beta firmware - Bug Gas 6 in simulator
Hi Matthias,

Test with simulator:

I setup the Gases list: Gas 1 * Air (First Gas) and Gas 2: Tx 14/50 (Gas Disabled)

I open the simulator with 64 m > Gas 1: * Air (First Gas) - The Calculation is correct "EAD"=64m and "END"=64m

I change the gas and setup with: Gas 6 Tx 14/50 and I have the screen below :

The value "EAD" is false, OSTC3 has retained the previous value "EAD", the value Air in this eg, when installing the gas 6

I again changed the Gas and setup with: Gas 2 Tx 14/50 and I have the screen below,

The Calculation "EAD" is correct, OSTC3 to recalculated the "EAD" with good value, the calculation is OK for the gases installed,

When correcting this bug, it would be very interesting, as I requested in another topic, to replace the display "EAD / END" with "EAD / MOD like on OSTC Sport:

or better substitute by pO2 Max / MOD (Values of the gas in use)

The "EAD / END" values are of no use during the dive, but only useful when planning the dive,

Regards,

Thanks. Fixed in the next release.

I disagree, for me MOD is for planning and END/EAD give interesting informations during the dive. Especially when using two (or more) different trimix gases during one dive.
This is unlikely to be changed, sorry.

Matthias

Of course "MOD", "EAD", "END" are essential for planning your dive ...

- But after planning your diving on the dry ground taking into account the parameters above and problems of against diffussion-gases ...

- Once in the water, how you use and what action can you have on the parameters "EAD" & "END"?

- While during your dive, the parameters "pO2 Max" & "MOD" of the gas in use are recall of Maxi to not exceed that you can control depending to your current depth throughout your dive and your decompression,
