Ich habe meinen OSTC Sport dieses WE beim Freediven im Apnoe Modus verwendet und war auch da sehr zufrieden damit.
Was ich vermisst habe, ist das eintragen der gemachten Dives ins Logbuch.
Ist das ein Fehler oder einfach nicht vorgesehen?
Ich hätte es spannend gefunden, wenn ich die einzelnen Dives im Logbuch mit der Tiefenkurve hätte ansehen können - einfach so als Vergleich und und ggf. einzelne Eindrücke zu bestätigen.
Wenn das kein Fehler war sondern für Apnoe kein Logbuch geführt wird, dann reiche ich dies hiermit als Feature-Request ein!!
Apnoe Tauchgänge werden aktuell nicht im Logbuch abgelegt. Das wird kommen, aber nicht in der diese Woche erscheinenden 10.17, sondern erst später.
Hintergrund ist, das gerade Taucher die beides machen (OC Tauchen und Apnoe) Ihr Logbuch nicht gemischt haben möchten. Die Apnoe-Tauchgänge sollten also getrennt vom normalen Logbuch gespeichert sein. Das macht die Sache etwas komplizierter...

As the previous user I dive only trimix and ratio deco hence I'm looking for a bottom timer with resettable avergae depth and a stopwatch function.
From what I see the Sport has everything I need used in apnea mode.
From the user manual I do not understand which drawbacks I will have using it as bottom timer in apnea mode. Diving profiles aren't there?
What's the model which suit my needs? (Gauge mode with stop watch and reset avg depth)

It's a pity using a dive computer as a gauge timer only. A lot of effort has been spend to make it calculate your deco plan. But all our Trimix-Computers (OSTC2, 3 and cR) have a gauge mode with Stopwatch and resettable average depth.

I have the 2C. I has the Gauge mode with everything I need for RD on it's bright and big screen. I suppose put that mode in the 2C for some reason, and I'm happy you did. I was expecting that the same reasons could have led you to include it in the rest of your portfolio, making the Sport a more economical alternative to have a BT with a good screen.
Today there's only one BT with Oled screen for Ratio Deco divers, without having to pay the very high extra cost of a full featured technical dive computer that I know of, the Black BT. And I had to return it after several problems, so though I know some happy uses of it, its not an option for me.
If you get to make a competitive alternative, or decide to turn the Sport into one I'm sure all RD divers would be very interested.
wir sind mit dem Gauge Mode ein wenig vom Thema abgekommen, ursprünglich ging es ja um das Apnoe-Logbuch. Bin seit einigen Wochen stolzer Besitzer des OSTC Sport und nutze ihn für das Sporttauchen und für Apnoe, daher mein Interesse.
Gerade im Apnoemodus schätze ich die Größe und Schnelligkeit der Anzeige, besonders beim FreeFall in trüben Gewässer. In der Lesbarkeit können da selbst spezielle Apnoe-Computer nicht mithalten. Einziges Manko ist die fehlende Logbuch-Funktion.
Letze Aussage dazu ist ja schon über ein Jahr her. Wird daran noch gearbeitet oder ist diese Funktion mittlerweile verworfen? Wäre sehr schade, da ich meine Sportkollegen immer mehr mit dem Teil begeistere.
