OSTC3 connectivity via COM6

So I'm trying to download settings & dives new 3, but I'm not having much luck, as the only program that recognises the comp on the COM6 port is the OSTC Companion.

That gives me a choice between 2 COM6 ports:

Works: COM6 (USB )
Doesn't work: COM6 (current)

OSTC Planner, Diving Log 5.0, Subsurface & JDiveLog all just show a single COM6, and all are unable to find the comp.

Is this familiar to anyone?

I'm using CDM v2.12 for the COM6 usb driver - is there anything else I could try?

As a side question, how come there's no official certified HW software - why is everything left to external developers?

Hi Phil,

If the companion works and the other Software find this com port they should be fine, as well.

Don't try all simultaneously, start with Divinglog.

make sure to use the "Universal Downloader" in Divinglog:
- Download
- Downlader
- OSTC 3 and COM6
- Check "Log errors" and click on "Download"

Because the existing OSTC software is already much better then everything _we_ could setup and maintain. The external developers are the specialists here and they get a lot of support from us in order to keep their software up-to-date.

Hallo OSTC-Community

habe heute meinen neuen OSTCsport getaucht und wollte via Planner den Tauchgang runterladen. Der Planner versucht dies auf Port 3 der OSTCsport verbindet sich mit der Companion SW aber auf Port 5. Habe Win 8.1 und die letzte OSTCSport Firmware installiert. Im Planner kann ich den Port nicht wechseln.

Der OSTC Planner unterstützt den "Sport" (noch) nicht.
