OSTC3 Dead after battery change

Hi just changed my battery after diving this morning when a battery warning appeared whilst diving. Computer now dead. Does it lock out for a period if you change battery or is computer dead?
Been diving 6 days in a row 3 decompression dives per day. (15 min deco max)
