I can extract the file with 7-Zip and with Izarc but I don't see the .hex file extension, nor the text files. What do I do wrong?

in attachments you can see the difference with old files i downloaded one or two months ago, and withe the new 1.40 I downloaded. Out of curiosity, I tried downloading 1.30 again and I also don't get the .hex file extension nor the text files anymore.

Tried with 7-zip(on my USB stick), new winzip I downloaded yesterday and Izarc with the same result every time:(

I think the problem some people see is either that the download interupts before the file is fully downloaded and the zip file is damaged.

But from the screenshots in the post above the byte size is correct. Try to add the *.zip extension to the file. Or try downloading the file using another browser. I had no problems with Firefox, maybe the IE may have problems when the server does send the file not correctly.

EDIT: I've just tried it with IE 8 and the zip file is not fully downloaded. A few bytes are missing and the file is corrupted. Another download with Firefox without problems. I think it is a webserver issue, but using Firefox fixes the problem.

Hi Divinglog, that's correct, installed the Mozilla browser, downloaded and openend the zip file with winzip and got the file with the .hex extension and the two text files.

Still unable to download with my new PC with IE 8.
Now downloaded Firefox and with this browser it worked like a sharm.
