Re: safety stop depht
Hello, it is possible to change this data. You can do it with the "Subsurface" application. You can change the beginning depth and as well the time of the safety stop. Couldn't go higher then 240 seconds unfortunately!
Hope that they change this in the near future because we need to do 5' at -5m.

Re: safety stop depth
There are no changes to the Safety Stop behaviour planed, sorry.
Use the stopwatch and the depth display to achieve any stop you want to do.

Matthias

Re: safety stop depth
I'd add I'd like to have the option to vary the depth of the Safety stop.
Different authorities recommend stop at different depths, it would be good to be able to configure the auto safety stop to your normal diving partners.
Thanks
Mark

No problem with "subsurface":

Re: safety stop depth
Oh, OK - I'll give that a try then, I thought it was saying you could only change it post dive in the log!
Thanks for the quick response.

That wouldn't make much sense, wouldn't it?

Re: safety stop depth
It wouldn't give me what I wanted, but you might change the details to record what you did, if you'd manually timed the stop, as a previous post suggested.
Change is made, so I'll see how it goes next dive
Thanks again.

Re: safety stop depth
Hello Snowman,
you can change the depth of start/end of your safetyp stop and also the time.
Unfortunately you can change it to maximum 240 seconds what is a pity!
I've asked HW several times for a change in this matter to 300 seconds because our association needs to have 300sec safety stop.
We know that it will not make the dive safer with this option but rules are rules and I try to obtain them as much as possible.
I still hope that they will change it in the near future and keep the customers happy. It still is just a small adjustment.

Re: safety stop depth
If it's a OSTC3, cR or 2 then yes: https://bitbucket.org/heinrichsweikamp/ if it's a "Sport" then no.

Re: safety stop depth
Can these 4 parameters please be made configurable from within the device itself via the menu?
I had set the safety stop start depth of my OSTC Sport to 5.9m via SubSurface but during the dive holiday, I had realize that the setting was not working and the safety stop kept starting and ending at 5m :/

Re: safety stop depth
The safety stop routine has been tested intensively and if the changes are applied with the PC software (try "hwosconfig": read.php?6,16826,16832#msg-16832) they work for sure.
There will be no changes to the safety stop routines in the near future, sorry.

Matthias

Re: safety stop depth
Just stop where you want, computer will calculate your TTS anyway , 5-6 m nearly no difference .Why do you need some promt for that ???
Computer shows you the sealing ... but did not force you to go up to it imediately ... stay lower as you wish .. It will not stay frozen as Sunnto , it will calculate your TTS and when it's gone , your free to surface...
