This is more a technical curiousity than anything else... how does the Sport determine the battery level in the OSTC Sport? Especially with the SAFT LS14500, which have a very flat voltage curve before they die.
Thanks.

Re: OSTC Sport Battery meter
Hello,
It's calculated based on the actual current consumption and then accumulated in software. Additional voltage thresholds are used if the battery is getting empty.
Regards,
Matthias

Thanks Matthias, that's good to know. So if I have a 50% battery, and switch out for a new one before a trip, switching back to the old one will show 100%, but probably go flat before it gets to 50%. So best to carry a brand new battery and just switch it out when needed.
