OSTC 2n white screen and cannot connect in Win10 to upgrade firmware?!?

Hi,

I am having trouble because my OSTC 2n (barely 1 year old) somehow started showing white screen background on the text.

How come? Is it some debug mode?

How can I turn it off?

My firmware version is 2.01.


One solution I wanted to try was upgrading firmware, but I cannot connect to it.

First I tried connecting to it via Companion, when I pick Ostc 2n it cannot connect with COM 3:

When I choose Ostc 2 it does connect, but disables the Update Firmware option:

I've even tried uploading firmware without connecting, doesn't work (makes sense, but as nothing else works, tried that as well).

In both options (OSTC 2 or OSTC 2n/...) when I choose COM 4, the program hangs and dies.


Next, off I've tried installing your mentioned drivers for USB:

Still nothing, the same issue.


Next, I've tried installing your Bootloader v2, but it doesn't even see it:

When I switch to COM 4, it hangs again.


I've also tried just uploading firmware option in it, but of course that it doesn't work.


Ok, what do I do? This simply doesn't work.
